Friendly, attentive staff!
Doing a video shoot at a new-to-me location. Before I got there, I checked my email to firm up the address. Really simplified turning on a very busy street.
When I finished I was leaving early. Found myself locked out of the garage and the entry way that locked behind me. My ‘buzz’ brought help that stayed with me till we had successfully navigated after-hours restrictions. So appreciated the help from the BCGEU building rep.
A recession proof industry
Greeted by another customer in a store by a former student of mine from over 25 years ago. Turns out he’s now a ‘dream merchant.’ He invites his customers to ‘imagine’ . I should have used that word more often in my teaching… He is the first dream merchant I’ve talked to.
High energy service from Canada Post
Inspiration arrives on our street each day. Our letter carrier walks 37km a workday…She’s run a marathon. She does her work with a sparkle…. Seeing all that is a What’s Gone Well moment.
A peaceful, patient, gracious meal routine
Taking Hi! on the road
One of the teachers at Ashtanga Yoga in Victoria was going on a US tour with his band. He bought a copy of Hi.. Conversation Changes Lives for the tour from the Ashtanga Studio store.
He liked hearing that the book can be read non-sequentially. Another newcomer to the book said it was like a choose-your-own-adventure.
