Love going to play music at Fritz and Marg’s. Unique opportunity to expand.
I came in the last half hour of MySore…turned out to be the only one at yoga today… Lots of attention. Concrete suggestions to work on. I loved it.
An infant strapped into his stroller who was just so delighted with life. He had wonderful eye contact and did ‘high 5’s with his feet.’
We have season’s tickets with a group of people at St Luke’s Players. One evening, one of our group couldn’t make it. I learned this at 6 pm… Took some time to think about who we could offer the ticket to. Phoned a woman, whose friend had just bailed on her for another event. She said ‘yes’, and enjoyed it so much that she signed up for the next season. It was a bit of a breakthrough, a change in social habit. Great to see.
Always surprised at the range of experiences that service people bring. A question or two.. and their stories often come out. Near the end of a brief exchange this cashier mentioned she in fact ‘had the Fernwood spirit … I’m a part time Shaman.’
Met with some post secondary staff who feel our card deck and book will help students make more effective connections on campus.
Benefit for staff as well.
