So grateful for everything…. The birds outside my window, fresh air, sunshine, coffee, my cat, being able to make things I love and having people line up to buy them ….. I could literally go on and on and on ….
Yesterday I went to Value Village for materials. I really needed buttons and embroidery thread. I found both, along with some amazing yarn. Spent $30 for $350 worth of materials. So happy. Now I can make loads of awesome stuff. Soooooooo grateful for it all.
May 26th Well today I am grateful for the neighbours who called the police and scared off the person who was breaking into our house while we were sleeping in our rooms. They used a big long gaff to get our purses off the kitchen table through an open window. Then we’re using my keys from my purse to try and get in the house when they got spooked.
Very grateful they didn’t get in, very grateful they stashed my house keys outside and I found them so I feel safer. Very grateful we are ok.
Very grateful the universe was watching out for us.
A day later…
May 27th: Yay yay yay. I got a call from the police at about 11:30 tonight, they caught the guy I got returned most of my ID and I probably had like $40- 50 in change in my wallet and I got back about $22 !
So surprised and so grateful! Thank you! Thank you Vic PD
May 29th When I was taking my dogs out to pee this morning, I discovered someone had returned my purse that had been stolen. They put it in front of my truck.
Faith in humanity level extremely high today what a crazy week! I thought it was empty but all my other missing stuff was in my bag! It must of been in a bush it was full of sticks and earwigs lol.
Just so astounded! And full of Joy for the good in humanity
A mother booked our room for her two children from California who want to explore what UVic has to offer. She chose our place because it would provide a bit more support for them in a new city. I offered to pick them up from the bus station and bring them back home, providing a bit more orientation for them. The mother loved the offer. Cool to stand out from the rest.
Our neighbourhood watch folks wanted to get rid of their clutter so I helped organize a garage sale. While people came and haggled about the already reasonable prices, the neighbours really enjoyed the excuse to talk to each other. Some people got ride of quite a few things in the process.
I saw them on the bus. The grandfather gave the child such wonderful attention, great eye contact, and joy.
