We have recently returned from a 5-day family reunion where I noticed that many things “went well”. This was in a very pleasant, very small town in the Peace River area that almost non of us knew. It took most of us 2 plane rides to get there, not to mention renting cars and travelling with 4 small children for some of us. But with lots of good-will and cooperation, 16 opinionated relatives had a happy time together, enjoyed a small-town rodeo, antique village, great cooking, and playing with very bright little blond children. Much cause for gratitude!
Went for an early morning walk with our dog and a good book. The dog had some good socializing. We have a wonderful neighbour who just got a new chocolate lab puppy. They had an exuberant play. Should be great dog-socializing time. This is the same neighbour who said, ‘If you ever need a hand, just ask.’
