I so appreciate this innovation in ‘biffy’ technology.. Call this simple engineering. Helps me relax.
Wonderful turnout at Meg’s art show downtown Victoria. Even the pups had a good time.
I collect refundables for a teen I’ve come to know, who raises money for projects to help people downtown.. I asked a woman next door in a student house if she’d put aside their refundables instead of disposing of them.. She said she would.. and here’s what she left on our porch last week.
My son and partner came to town for a couple of days at Thanksgiving.. A year ago they gave his niece a bubble gun… which she just loves. She brought it over to our house for her visit with her uncle.. and here’s one of the moments that came at the end of their visit.
I was picking something up at the Green Party’s office this morning, and paid for my parking at a meter just outside. My stay there was about 15 minutes and one of the staff said a Park Victoria meter reader was writing a ticket for a Tesla.. I went out side and explained I’d paid for my parking. He said ‘it’s empty now’, I’ll remove the ticket … you’d better add more.
I told him how touched I was by his understanding.
Bringing joy to campus life…A change of pace….While at the UVic library with our pups, a student came up and asked to hold one. Then he asked if I’d take a picture and text it to him.
