A stand out Classroom Moment
A Classroom Moment from an English class in Nanaimo, BC. It became a musical production shared with the community, about the coal mining history of their town.

On the way to a meeting I dropped in at Moss St Market to buy our garlic for the garden. Found Kildara Farms to be informative and supportive. I bought his remaining stock. ” If you have any questions just phone us at the farm.”
A neighbour from Saudi went home for the summer with his family. When they returned they brought us a wonderful pack of gifts: a delicious dish full of dates, home made biscuits, a special pen and a long shirt/ kurta We were so touched by their generosity. Definitely a first to be held in memory.
Having them as neighbours itself has been such a gift for us.
Went for walk in Finnerty Gardens with a new-to-town friend. It is always amazing how different the gardens are.. including the layout each time we come. It’s an adventure to find even the familiar. That keeps things fresh.. and leads to rich conversation.
