What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
THIS WEEK WAS AWSOME!!! We did OUR eagle project. On Monday we had no school because it was Victoria day. Yesterday we did characters about Mickey Mouse. On Tuesday we had gym and we played prison dodge ball and we had gym today too. Also today it was pizza day THIS WEEK WAS GREAT!!!
This week my class and I did gym. We played basketball and I got a point it was a tie. It was also PIZZA DAY! Yesterday we did eagle projects and I finished. I also learned about the creator of Disneyland his name is Walt Disney. He thought of a mouse named Mortimer then his wife said the name should be Mickey.

This week was great!!! On Monday we didn’t have school because of Victoria day. So on Tuesday we did 2 fun things. 1. We had gym 2. We did computers. On Wednesday we had computers and searched up Roy Henry Vickers. He is an artist that makes First nations art. On Tuesday we had a special guest coming to our school and her name was Ashley Spires and she is an artist and an illustrator who came to our school. We did a drawing of a dog. Then we looked at some pictures of her drawings. Also we looked at her studio were she works and best of all we saw her pets. On Thursday we had characters and we learned about how the person who invented Mickey get the idea. Walt Disney the inventor got the idea on a train. He wanted to make a TV show with a mouse. He thought of a name Mortimer and his wife wanted to change it to Mickey Mouse. His first movie was Crazy Plane, the second one is Gallopin’ Gaucho. The third one is the first 1with sound it is called Steamboat Willie. Walt Disney became famous and created Disneyland.
Today we went to gym and we did 2 laps around the track and Ms. Newton did 4 and she got to 100! Then we played square ball for few minutes then we played basketball that was so much fun. Then it was pizza day. The pizza was so good also it was friendly Friday I sat with Anoop. On Thursday we did characters, we were searching about Mickey mouse and walt Disney. Also in the end I search about minnie mouse. Also we drew Mickey then we coloured Mickey red, black and yellow then I cut it.
I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!
I had an awesome week!! For characters we were writing about Disneyland we had to write about Mickey, Minnie and Donald. Mickey Mouse’s first name was Mortimer. I thought it was funny when I heard about Mickey Mouse’s real name. Walt Disney’s wife thought about Mickey Mouse and Walt thought about Mortimer. I love characters it is really fun! Today we had pizza day it was really, really, really,really yummy. Michelle and I are doing a video game about tigers. Michelle is making the game and I am making the tittle page it is so much fun to make the tittle page.

THIS WEEK WAS AWESOME! This week we did something called “Scratch”with our librarian, Ms. Lau. I was working on my project with my friend Anoop. The name of my project is called “The Adventures Of The Siberian Tiger”. On Thursday we did characters. Our characters were going to Disneyland! First we did the writing, then we did a drawing of Mickey Mouse. On Friday we had guitar. Some of the songs we sang were “This Land Is Your Land” and “Where Have All The Flowers Gone?”. We also had Pizza Day on Friday. I finished my eagle project on Friday too!
