What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Gym went well for me this week because first we did some stretches then we went out for a run after that we came back inside and we first practiced then we played a game of basketball and it was a tie. Pizza day went well for me this week because it was so good and yummy. Characters went well for me this week because we did characters about Disneyland and I also liked characters this week because I like Disneyland. The eagles project went well for me this week because I finished and I helped someone finish it was nice and fun to work on our eagles project. Reading went well for me this week because I read a book called Geronimo Stilton and it is one of my favourite novels.
This week was great. Monday was Victoria Day. On Tuesday we did math and we learned about money. Then we got to go to the library. On Wednesday we searched Roy Henry Vickers on computers. On Thursday we learned about the creator of Mickey and did Characters on Mickey. Today we had pizza for lunch and had a happy day!!!!
Yesterday my class and I did eagle projects and I finished my project. Today was PIZZA DAY!!! It was so good!! Also yesterday we did characters and we are studying Disneyland. Did you know Walt Disney is a real person who created Mortimer Mouse aka Mickey Mouse. It was Walt’s wife who named Mickey.

This week we did characters and Roy Henry Vickers art which is of an eagle. We are working on Scratch I finally found a partner Naomi we are working on The Black Footed Ferret front cover, our progress is going really well. We are now learning about Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse whose name was Mortimer mouse. We didn’t have a spelling test this week because Monday was a holiday.

It was a great week!!! We got to have pizza because it was PIZZA DAY AND FRIENDLY FRIDAY!!! I am so happy! Yesterday, Mr. Loat came and we worked on our project on Scratch. It was fun. In Characters, we got a brochure and it was all about Disneyland!?
We learned some history about how Walt Disney invented Mickey Mouse!
