A woman who works at the Drake Eatery had just finished her shift but told me that she likes the people who come to Green Drinks. I suggested meeting Martin.
Eventually they had a great conversation, and discovered much common ground and spirit including that they both had attended MIT.

I asked at the counter who I should leave some feedback with. One woman said, any of us. It turned out, she had made the platter and was so pleased about hearing. She was concerned as I had left some rather detailed criteria for the platter.
I ordered the largest sandwich platter for our monthly Church Fellowship lunch. When we pick ed it up the bill was for the Large size. ( 10-15) . We had 17 people show up, and two of us brought our own food. An 18th person forgot and went home. We had just the right amount of food, and made a point of passing around the sandwiches to the tables to make sure the last ones were taken up.
On top of that the conversations were heartwarming and connecting, so worth the effort of contacting people 1:1 and inviting them.
