Texted a neighbour who is a commercial painter asking if he had some dry wall compound. He texted back he put it over my fence. What a great helping hand. Years ago he leaned over the fence and said, ‘ Let me know if there’s ever a time you need a hand.’
This is the spirit that builds neighbourhoods.
“Awesome. Anytime you need something let me know, I have most home repair tools and materials.”
Talking to some passersby at a church open house. One fellow said I should be used in the movies. Interesting how often people come up to me and say they like my movies. I’ve been asked for photos and autographs. I never disappoint. A chance to make a day.
Landed at the Prince George airport and upon walking into the terminal, was welcomed by a community of people! Someone showed me their new baby, another (picking up the accent), asked how the climate was in NZ and my hosts had both arrived to pick me up!
