What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.
Further conversations at the studio brought out stories of others who in the good weather are into van living full time… while holding down jobs.
We all have a story that can be changed
A white haired woman at the grocery had a patch of purple hair ( not this picture). I asked what the story was…. She and her husband and moved to Victoria, knowing no one . She saw it as an opportunity to be someone different, to redefine herself. The colour statement is just a small indicator of her intention, her desire to explore and define a new life.
Being an intensely private person with an attitude that we all have to work out our own lives, she didn’t want to be photographed so I used this stock photo.
That’s what I like about cruising…. catching great stories.
She said, ‘You must be psychic.. it’s exactly what I was doing.’
A local party house did a major shift in neighbourhood fit last year. Today I dropped in and found the same crew lived there as last year. When I thanked them for their turnaround, they said, ‘Thanks.. it took us a while to get smart.’
What it took was a proactive visit from great police and by-laws enforcement officers. The renters were very receptive. This visit/conversation did more than early morning complaint calls the police responded to.
In organizing the food for a fellowship luncheon, I ended up phoning in the order after 4:00 the day before. The voice mail said new orders not taken after 4:00. I phoned customer service at the store, and they passed me to the Deli. ‘No problem’. Great spirit. Got the order done.
Had our largest turnout for a lunch. Included some great leftovers from the previous day’s event. A win-win.
