This morning, a house guest asked to borrow a hair drier. I suggested he look in the drawer in the lower hall bathroom, which I never use, but often clean. When I looked in the drawer a little later, I found my watch!
Making it easier to get back from downtown yoga
On the Victoria Transit web site, we can find the estimated arrival time at any bus stop in the system. If you can find the stop, it will give you the full schedule of departure times from it. Love this new feature. On top of that I was picked up by a driver who really likes to be on time. ( He doesn’t like to be kept waiting when he is a passenger.)
He joined transit late in career and loves every day
Great stories from this bus driver. He was a funeral director for 12 years… so he especially loves doing this job for the last 17 years. He has a sense of freedom and joy every day on his bus, being his own man. He exudes the golden rule… as he treats his riders as he likes to be treated when he rides the bus.
Making room, sharing space
Coffee gathering at the Spiral Cafe with Murray Rankin, our MP. When I got there things were already flowing. People moved over to give me a great seat across from Murray. So many ideas about positive initiatives going on in town. Great ideas came from the chat.
