what I learned from this speech was that there can be bad questions. If you ask a better question you will get a better answer. Something that surprised me was that a question can go from a yes or no question to a complex question in 2 minutes of thinking. I think that this will help me in life later a lot so I’m glad we got this speech.asking yes or no questions are boring to hear and to answer and they wont get you very far but asking thoughtful and interesting that a have more than a 1 word answer will help you go far.
– I noticed that once we actually got thinking we came up with some really great questions. They weren’t just yes or no or one word answers.
– I learned that to get a job, you must ask questions and be curious.
-What surprised me was how demanding Mr. Bowers was about answering questions. I was also surprised by how good we are under pressure and when we’re put on the spot we come up with great questions.
Today I learned how to ask good questions. I learned that a question that can be answered with a yes or a no is a bad question. A question that can be answered with a full sentence is is a good question because it is answered in depth. I also learned that a bad question can be turned into a good question by adding what or why. For example, do you like your job? can be turned into what do you like about your job.
Yesterday I learned that not every question is a good question. If the question you ask is a yes or no answer it is a dumb question. If the question you ask is indeed a yes or no question or a one word answer change the question to make it more interesting.
Inoticed that if you ask good questions you will get good responses.
I learned that yes or no questions aren’t interesting.
The way that yes or no questions aren’t as good as other questions surprised me.
I will use something I heard today by not asking yes or no questions.
I will use something I heard today by asking good questions.
I learned that questions are very important. It surprised me how you can use questions in the real world. I can use this to help me in the future. I noticed that he dismissed yes or no questions. It was interesting to know that what we learned when we were little that there was no stupid questions, and how this is wrong.
