When we got this talk I noticed how important questions really are.
I learned about 4 different people who have very different jobs but they all revolve around the environment.
I was surprised that asking Yes or No questions is actually a waste of peoples time.
I will use my new knowledge of questions to ask more detailed questions all the time.
This is different from other guest speakers because it was all on one single subject.
I thought it was interesting to hear about energy conservation and machinery. That there was alot of focus before on envormental issues. It suprised me that enganiers also think about resource conservation.
To ask better than average questions. I am interested to hear Elizabith May.
Today I learned not to ask stupid questions/questions that only have yes or not as an answer. I noticed that you get much more information and detail when you don’t ask questions like that. What surprised me was that you ask a lot of questions like that, but you don’t think about it. I’ll use what I learned by asking questions that will give me more information when I ask them, instead of just getting yes or no as an answer. This is different, because most speakers usually talk about being motiviational, or works that they’ve done, but instead, he talked about asking questions that you’re more interested about.
that it’s great to ask amazing questions
how to ask great questions
that people have the most intresting jobs
You can always ask a good question anywhere
never ask 2 answer questions
I learned that many people love there job with a total passion. Some people are very good with their life/ work balance. I noticed that the presentation was very interesting and I have learned a lot about good questions. I was surprised by how energetic the speaker was. I felt that it was a very important presentation and that I will be using this to learn deeper in class. I found this was different than the other guest speakers because the speaker had more energy than the others that I have heard in my life. To conclude I had a very good time listening to this presentation.
I noticed that you can never stop asking questions and that you need to ask better questions then yes or no
