Sarah Fletcher was amazing. When she told us about her rock band I was so into it. I am someone that needs to hear this. Sarah really ‘spoke’ to me most. Because I have similar interests. Elizabeth was really nice and most of the time I’m not into politics but I was today. Justin was very interesting. I enjoyed when he told us about urban agriculture and Big brother, Big Sister.

My favrite speaker was Elizabeth May. I thought a person who worked for the goverment would be really interesting to listen to, and I was right. She had very good respnses for the answers.
My ideas from Elizabeth May:
Getting attention from the media is hard. Well, thats to be expected.
In Gr.10, she wanted to be an environmental lawyer. I think this would be a good idea, evn though I have no idea what that means.
My highlight of today was listening to Elizabeth May say that she sponsored this little girl in Africa. I think the comment that she said after that was really funny.
The last thing that I want say, is that Justin Blanchfield’s biggest achievement, the property and turning into orchard, sounds like a good achievement. I think it would be fun to garden in the summer.

Day Two:
Justin stood out most to me because when he was interested in taking his bicycle apart and putting it back together. That made an imaginary path for him that led to mechanical engineering. So I think, if anyone is interested in one subject enough, they can also carve a path to their favorite job. I also liked Elizabeth’s story because she may have failed to win a seat in the parliament, but she doesn’t think of herself as a loser. She is even an author and has very good ideas to catch the attention of the media around climate change! I learned today, that most of these three people have had these points in their life when they have a big decision in their life when they don’t know where to turn. But in the end they found a suitable idea that could work for them. So I learned, if you don’t know where to turn, take a chance at your best idea. If you try hard enough, I think you can accomplish any of you dreams.

Sarah Fletcher is amazing she had repeated her PhD several times that’s amazing that she isn’t tired of it. Elizabeth May I get how she want’s to change the world, a better world is possible.
