Some ideas that stood out from the amazing speakers were being neutral when mediating a conflict and the difficulty that follows that, biomimicry, smart growth, and connecting communities.
I would like to learn more about what biomimicry is, and I plan on doing further research. I will also use Anne-Marie’s thoughts on not always giving advice or input when helping someone with conflicts, but simply just listening and trying to understand them.

One idea that stood out is there is something to learn from meshing industrial and natural systems. Also people around you, or the wisdom of crowds, helps you. Something that surprised me was Anne-Marie’s view on the beginners mind and that it’s a great place to be a you don’t put your assumptions in the way. I also liked how she suggested to argue for your limits or they will become yours.
I found interesting it that her work is so difficult to be neutral among people and how well she deals with it.
Also her leadership abilities amaze me and how she likes her work and that she is living her dream every workday.

Anne-Marie talking about just going for your dreams really stood out. I’m going to try and make the best decisions for my future right now. It was interesting how they both grew and learnt as people, they weren’t always who they are now.

I was only present for half of the first speaker, although something that stood out to me was her drive and her motivation. Seeing someone who becomes inspired so easily by everyone around her does a fantastic job of radiating that energy. I was definitely able to pick up on that. I will use these ideas by remembering that there is inspiration all around me, I just have to look a little bit harder. The aspect that grabbed my attention was how she had the courage and strength. She followed her aspirations even if they led her off the well worn path. Thanks^
An idea that stood out was to argue your limit and to experiment to find your dreams. Using this will allow me to catch up to what I want to do.

Anne-Marie Daniel was very interesting to listen to about how much we can learn from nature and it then affects use and the environment. Something that stuck with me was the idea that if you think of your limits you’ll get stuck there.

Anne-Marie really stood she was very interesting. Her ideas that stood out were “argue for your limits and there yours”, also longer you live there’s more to learn about. I will use these ideas by using them in my everyday life.

I found her answers to be very real and intriguing. You could really tell she was passionate about what she does for a living. Some quotes that stood out were “argue for your limits and they’re yours” as well she said that having a beginners mind and being wide open is not a bad thing but can always be used to your advantage. People who surround you shape who you are.

Anne-Marie really knew what she was talking about and was willing to talk about personal issues.

What we take from the experience really resonated we me as although the experience was elucidating what we do with that information truly dictates how valuable the experience was . for Anne Marie looking at nature for answers really makes sense to me as we are all apart of nature.

From Anne-Marie I learned that you shouldn’t live with yourself if you think you “should” do something you need to have the mentality of you want to do this, I also learned that experimentation is a great way to find your dreams.
