A retired counsellor told me he had a MAGIC moment to share from when he was working in a middle school. Here’s the story
Tim just made this apple pie. I made some apple sauce.
I am starting composting. I bought it from Compost Education Center and got the factsheet to learn how to make the compost.
I’ve got a story. I was talking to my friend in class break today, he ran a marathon a few days back so i wanted to give him kudos. While talking I wanted to go a bit deeper, so I asked him what stood out for him in the whole experience. He stopped for a second, complimented the question by saying “good question” and then answering further. Moments after my question another friend came over to talk about the marathon and few other topics.
Thanksgiving day… Jordan suggested inviting his good friend Lexi and Erin over for an afternoon visit. Laurie’s ,Jordan’s partner spotted our game of JENGA and everyone joined in . Midst the JENGA challenge, lots of good conversation and laughter… Such a plus to the afternoon.
Thanksgiving highlight…. Our Wisteria vine needed trimming back so it woundn’t swallow our street light. I texted my neighbour to borrow his long ladder, and Jordan and Laurie were available in the operation.. Efficient and fun.I love hanging out with ‘can-do’ folks.
