Conversations DO change our days, our lives…I did meet someone on our walk yesterday… Jaden’s friend was out for a run and took Mikko off my hands to join him on his run. Worked out really well!
I wonder if he’d like a ‘little friend’ on the regular?
Thoughtful anticipation
Great service at Canadian Tire. In getting out my wallet from my fanny pack, I didn’t realize my Tesla Fob had fallen out. When I was looking for my fob 15 minutes later, I retraced by steps to the cashier and they had it waiting for me. Big relief!
“I knew you’d be returning.”
Our daughter organized a surprise party for me last night in our home with a delightful mix of folks, some of whom I haven’t seen for some time.. Loni did a wonderful job with the rich array of food. About 25 came, many of whom didn’t know alot of folks ‘in the room’.
Through the course of the four hours, people came and went . I was really touched by their coming, and considering it worth their time. I had little contact with many of them, but noticed they had some rich conversations with those they knew or had never met.
Our granddaughter , who at three years of age has attended quite a few parties, reported after, “Bowies party is my favourite.’
Sat down with our daughter o get a clearer look at Instagram’s functions and operation. She was super helpful and patient. It opened up a new, practical view of this tool, as she mentioned things that I had never heard about. This was priceless and replicable. A perfect guide by my side!
One of Loni’s very high performing students returned a number of books she’d borrowed over the years from Loni. Each was precious to Loni. Along with the books was a delicious selection of fresh fruit and some beautiful ear rings.
Let patience find her perfect work
Loni was given a large box of song arrangements from her father’s collection. We offered this to a music student in college, but they didn’t follow through. She wanted to talk to Lloyd, a musician who played with and loved her father, about something else, but included mentioning the music. He gladly accepted it. He was the perfect person to receive it.
