I learned to ask better questions. I learned not to ask ‘lame’ questions. ‘Lame’ questions are questions like “How are you?” I learned to ask questions that need more than a “yes” or “no”. I was surprised when he talked about lame questions. I liked the presentation.
I liked how during that block we were the ones asking the questions not answering them. That was a very good life lesson, questions help you learn more. No one should ever stop learning.
I learned how to ask questions that will present me with the most information.
It surprised me that you can take a really small question and make it so much broader.
I noticed that a yes or no question does not give much information. But, a question that has a big answer gives you a ton of information.
i will use to ask great questions throughout your life.
I learned: That it is so important to give descriptive questions that really make the person you are asking think.
I noticed: That he was very descriptive when he was speaking.
It surprised me when: He told me that when you are in an interview and the person who is interviewing you asks if you have any questions and you say you have non then they wont hire you.
I will use that to my knowledge by: I will have an easier time asking the right questions in my job interviews or even in the street.
It was different because: I understood what he was trying to teach us. He was very descriptive, and just very entertaining.
Thank you for your time.

I learned that questions are way more important than they seem to be. I will use what I learned today in my future to ask better questions in general. It surprised me how a simple question can be so powerful. I noticed that if you ask a lame question like “how was your day?” you almost always get a way more boring response than “Why was your day good today?” because by asking why, you make the person explain why their day was good, making it a more interesting conversation.
I enjoyed the speaker yesterday. I noticed that he was very passionate about what he does. I learned how to decide if a question is worth asking. I also learned that it is really easy to think of questions to ask people if you properly know how to. Another thing that i learned was that yes or no questions are not good questions and you will not get a very interesting answer. I also notice that the five w’s were commonly used in peoples questions.
