What stood out to you from this two day learning experience?
I noticed that we are having some very important speakers coming to speak to us, which is very cool. I learned what an “actual” good question is. I will keep this in mind when I am applying for a job.
I noticed that these people all have very different but interesting stories. These people all ended with success. I learned about how to ask a good question. I also learned about what a the difference between a good and a bad question is. I was surprised Sarah Fletcher who is a anthropologist PhD use to be a rock star. I think when i do a job interview in the future i will use these tips on how to ask good question in the interview to help me get a good job -Kenny
what surprised me today, was the fact that three differenht people, with different achivements are all coming to speak to our class. i find that very interesting. i noticed that Sarah fletcher ontop of everything that she does, she is also a mother. i will take with me into the world that no matter what happendes in life, keep trying
What I noticed is that a lot of the speakers focus on sustainability. I learned that Justin Blanchfield focuses on agriculture e.t.c. I noticed that Sarah Fletcher foucuses on overcopming adversity e.t.c. I noticed that Elizabeth May focuses on trying to get people to care more for the environment and climate change. What surprised me was that Sarah Fletcher is a new mom because she must be really buy with her work and everything. I will use something that I learned today for one day changing the world and making a difference in my community.
I noticed that we are going to have a bunch of famous speakers coming. I learned how to ask better questions. I also learned what a good question is. I was surprised we’re doing this on the computer. I will ask my parents some good questions. I will also ask my grandparents some good questions.
Today I learned facts and I made up questiopns to ask to the three guest speakers. I asked how their jobs are hard and how they are easy.
