What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Oh my gosh! I haven’t written on this blog in so long! I was going to write in the summer but I was really really, did I say really busy.
So this week we went to play on the computer and went on garage band. My friend Dasha had to play her song out loud. It was really random!
In guitar we learned the D chord ( I already know the D A7 and G chords and E minor we didn’t learn E minor in the class) I was helping my friend Emma with the D chord she was having some trouble but I know she will get the hang of it.
We also played hockey. We played it twice. Once with Ms.Newton and one with Mr.Naso when we played with Ms.Newton we only played for like two minutes! With Mr.Naso it wasn’t as much fun as it was with Ms.Newton. : -)
We made a painting of us being active mine was me cheerleading. The teacher loved mine!

So far it’s been a GREAT school year. I am 2nd highest in sticks but Pat is ahead as well. I guess it’s o.k. I am still a little a bit sad that Darren is not in my class but that’s the way it goes. But at least 3 friends are in my class. I really like this class so far just thinking about switching desks. k bye bye!!!!!!
Well this is my first post this month. I just CAN’T BELIEVE I REMEMBER THIS ACCOUNT!!!! So my summer was okay it was the same as every other summer, I went to the U.S.A.
We went running and I ran 5 laps. We finally made our characters. My character’s name is… David Smith. YEAH, it’s Friday, Friday gotta get down on Friday YES!! it’s Friday =) We get to play kick the can on Friday! If we have enough time. O.K well we have to go because we um… … have to go now. Bye!!
It has been a great school year so far, we found out who our teacher is. We also played kick the can, hockey and garage band.
We made our characters for the year. My character’s name is Raj. Noah and Ryan are my brothers.
Oh my gosh this is my first time on this site! This week we painted a picture of ourselves being active. I love skim boarding, so I painted that. We also did characters, mine is named Cristy Logan and I’m sisters with Abbey. I love my class (and Teacher ) from Emma
I love starting the school year with the question, What makes a GREAT school year? The students in my class brainstormed ideas and then they got together in groups of four and recorded their favourites. Some examples are hockey, art, chocolate, characters, learning about whales, pizza lunches, friends, guitar, math, field trips, clay, WGW and homework??!!
It was truly exciting to feel their enthusiasm and to be able to participate in planning experiences that honour their goals.
It’s going to be a GREAT school year!!
