What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

I sang our Great School Year song yesterday as I cycled through forests and fields of corn, wheat, onions and of course sunflowers. I went 61 kms!
Hope you are all having a great summer 🙂
Oh My Goodness! It has been SO SO SO long since I have posted! 🙂 Montreal ROCKS I am learning French and after I will learn Japanese! Isn’t that exiting?
I have moved into my “Dream house.” it is HUGE!!! I have made 6 friends since we have moved into PierreFonds ( It is pronounced Pierre Foe ) They are all really nice! Their names are Taylor,Gabrielle,Emily,Timmy and Evan. They are not all related though actually Taylor and Gabrielle are step Brother and sister but Emily,Timmy and even are just average siblings.
Since Montreal Gets so HOT,We bought Jumbo Freezes to help cool us down from the afternoon to dessert! My Favorite kind is Cherry!
Well that is all I have time for now! I miss everybody from my class and even out side of it!!! Bye!!! I will post more often!
Hi Avery!
It’s so great that you are enjoying Montreal so much! You are so lucky to be learning French, I wish I had been able to use the French I learned because it would be great to speak it to the wonderful people here in France. They are so helpful and willing to go out of their way to make a difference. I’m starting a bike trip tomorrow and I’m a bit nervous because I will have to ask for directions along the way, the country is really pretty so it’s exciting! So great to hear from you, please keep in touch!
This ‘classroom’ is getting so wide!
This will give your students next year a larger sense of who you are. Thanks for ‘taking us along.’
I sure have been busy getting ready. There are so many little details and I am only allowed to take 1 bag that is 50 pounds so I have to be really careful what I pack. It’s tricky because the paint and canvas paper are heavy and I have to take my bike helmet for the bike trip.
Not only that, there was shopping to do! I had to get the right jacket, the right bike shorts, the right sun screen and sun screen top plus I had to go to the Apple Store because my phone wasn’t able to access the Camera Roll!
It’s all good now and I even have time to go golfing tonight! I have to be at the airport at 6:00 am tomorrow and I probably won’t sleep much tonight but I’m working really hard on…..”don’t be nervous, be EXCITED!” (thanks Roman!)
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer break! Thanks again for such a wonderful year. I will try to post from France!!
Thought I would try to post a comment from my iphone before I go to France! Hmmmm is there a way to add images (photos)?
I Have Had A Great Week!✰
William… It would be great to have you post some of your pieces on the main WGWT site during the summer. One approach may be to select a portion of a WGWT at School post, and post it on the main site.
Thanks for continuing to have images.
Thanks
Great way to start the summer! Yikes, sounds scary at the haunted house, can’t wait to hear about the Atmosfear! Lynn Canyon is beautiful, thanks for the picture!
Thanks again for an amazing year. I played golf on Friday and I sang our latest song as I played. It truly was a Great School Year and I know that reflecting on what went well has made a difference! It was fun to share the memories of our year that way!
Try to get more sleep :), enjoy the sunshine, keep posting!! I will try to post from France, can’t wait!
