What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This year has been a great school year. Our class
the most laps in the whole school. We played tennis we didn’t get to play a game.
Mr. Picha brought us pumpkins we carved them our self and we called the I insides guts. There was goo inside. I liked it, it felt funny.
On our field trips we went to the Biodiversity Museum and the Burnaby Village Museum. We also went to the Vancouver Aquarium.
When our class used chalk pastels, it was fun. We drew elephants. It was really hard for me.
When we did fractions in math it was hard but I liked it and I wanted to do more. Times my favourite is times nine I want to do more I am I will ask my mom to get more I will never stop times in till I am beater.
Our art was so fun we made trees on paper and we put it on glass it was so cool and a kind of hared then we did chalk pastels we made an elephant that was so hard I messed up so much times and I finale got it I was like now I do it. Then we did whales, it wasn’t that hard at all until we had to do reflections and the sun set. Then we did sgraffito where we made elephants, coloured them black, and used a toothpick to put our own design on.
I want to do more and more but I want to do one like a monkey with a silly face.

Wow this year was spectacular. We got to do art. In art we did elephants out of sgraffito. It took a long time to make the elephant. Also this year we did clay. And we made pots and elephants also whales and for Chnstmas we made a star and a tree. This year we also did oil pastels and chalk pastels. And we used the oil pastels to make sunflowers. Art was fun.
This year we also went on a field trip to the aquarium and we saw so many fish there. But there are no more whales at the aquarium. And we saw an octopus. This year we also went to south Arm pool to swim and I went down the slide it was fun.
This year we also did characters and we went to Paris and in Paris I got to see the Eiffel Tower and it was
Beautiful. I also went to Disneyland and I saw Mickey there. And I brought my dog to
Disneyland. In characters I also gave a letter to Santa.
This year we did guitar and we wrote 3 songs. And in our class Ms. Newton should us D G A7 and I did’ not no how to play the guitar. It is so cool that I know how to play the guitar. My mom and dad are going to bye me a guitar now and it is pick.
This year in gym we played so much hockey and a lot of boys scored. The last time we played the score was 12-6. And 6 more goals then it wood be a tia.

Oh hi. I’m not actually doing WGW this W I’m doing WGW this Y because the school year is almost over! Boooooooooo!!!!! Booooooooo because I won’t be at this school anymore because I’m moving but I don’t know where but I know I’m moving. I want to but I don’t want to!!
In the school year we had novel. We read: Mice at centre Ice, The Mouse and the Motorcycle and now we are reading Geronimo Stilton. I like Geronimo Stilton best because you can learn and it’s fun.
Now let’s move on to hockey. Hockey was terrific! I was always Defence because I like defence. Now I’m like best friends with Yogeet because I found out lots about her because she and I are always both on defence so ya.
Now to art. In art we played with clay we made elephants, whales, mouths, Christmas trees and stars. We also did sgraffito. We drew elephants then we did the sgraffito on it. We drew stuff with oil pastels but I forgot what we drew. We also drew with chalk pastels it was fun. Wait let me reword that. It was really really fun!!!
Now for the field trips.For the field trips we went to the Beaty Biodiversity Museum and we saw a blue whale skeleton!! Cool right! We also went to the aquarium and it was so so so so so so so so so fun! Oooooooooh here is my favourite field trip, we went to the Burnaby Village Museum. It was so coooollll we got to see what it was like a long, long, long, long, long time ago and I feel really bad for the people who went to the schools back then because they wacked the students with a whip if they didn’t do something right!!!! Oh and the Munscha Mia field trip and that time my mom came and she looooovvved it!
In guitar we learned 3 chords D A7 and G and I think I’m getting better because I have a guitar at my dad’s house and I have been practicing. We wrote 3 songs: It’s a Brand New Day, It’s a Brand New Game and It’s Been a Great School Year. They all have the same tune.
On WGW this W we talked to Avery. And Montreal sounds like a really cool place! We posted comments. We replied to comments. It is super duper fun!
In characters we went to Paris. Also we made our own neighbourhood , we went to a Canucks game, we made a letter to Santa, we have a pet and we learned about chocolate!!!
Now for the assemblies! We had a famous singer come to our school and preform a few songs like Canada in My Pocket. We also had a hip hop assembly. It was fun!
[Well I think this is what we did this year] what a great school year!
This year has been great. We did clay and we made whales out of clay for Father’s day. I am not finished my clay whale. I am going to finish after lunch and I am going to give it to my dad for a late Father’s day.
We did laps and on Friday when the told us about the laps .My class was 1stplace and we were happy. I was in 50 km ribbon.
We read 3 books. These are the 3 books that we read Geronimo, Mice and the Motorcycle, Mice at centre ice.
We learned chords in guitar. We know D, G and A7. We wrote 3 songs. It A Brand New Day, It A Brand New Game, and Its Been A School Year. I AM GOING TO MISS THIS SCHOOL IN THE SUMMER AND MY FRIENDS TOO!!!

OMG this year went by so fast I can’t believe it! I learned so much in this class. I learned how to play guitar and change chords like A7, D and G and I can change the chords fast. In guitar we wrote 3 Songs!
I love art it is so much fun we played with oil pastel. and also chalk pastel I love Sgraffito it is so much fun and I also love Characters. Our characters went to Disneyland and Paris and to the hockey game that In our class we run every day and now we are the number 1# in the school I learned never stop believing in yourself, that ‘s what I love about this class. we can all always get to play with clay , this class is the best <3 ☺
Wow this year has been the most terrific year ever. This year we all did characters. With
our characters we all went to Ms. Newton’s favourite city Paris. When we left Paris
we had ticket to see the Vancouver Canucksgame and Canucks won. So characters is a
lot of fun.
This year we also did art. We all love to do art in class. In art we did clay. We did clay in elephants, whales, pots and trees and stars. We got messy again. Then after we did sgraffito. We had to draw an elephant then paint it in black. We had to use a toothpick and draw designs. We had so much fun.
This year we went on a lot of field trips. Field trips that we won’t forget. We all went
to the Aquarium. There were beautiful fish there. The other field trips we all went to the Burnaby Village. I learned a lot of things in the Burnaby Village. Field trips are fun.
This year we all did guitar. We all learned chords like D,G, and A7. Then when everyone knew the chords we all wrote 3 songs; It’s a Brand New Day, It’s a
Brand New Game and It’s a Been a Great School Year.
