What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Well for the past year Ms. Newton’s class has been so much fun. My top 3 favorite things of this past year have been Hockey, Characters, and Gym with Mr.Higo for half of the year and with Mr. Mackay for the other half of the year. For the whole year we’ve played hockey on Wednesdays and sometimes on Mondays With Ms. Newton. In gym we usually (all the time sometimes) play hockey. In characters we have been to so many places and we talk about ourselves. I will always remember when we learned guitar d, a7, and g .I love guitar.
I Like it when we played with lego and made houses. That was a lot of fun.

I can’t believe it! But I am OK with this but it is all to soon! ☹ I will miss school.
These are the books I’ve read this year. These are Geronimo Stilton books I’ve read: The Curse Of The Cheese Pyramid, Four Mouse Deep In The Jungle, The Mona Mousa Code, The Christmas Toy Factory and The Mysterious Cheese Thief. This is another book I read, Mouse and the Motorcycle and one more book, Mice At Centre Ice.
These are the chords I learned at guitar. D, A7 and G .I also want to learn C and F.
In art we played clay, (SO MUCH FUN) sgraffito, oil pastels and chalk pastels.
We had Characters in Paris, their Neighborhood, a Canucks Game, letter to Santa, Pet and I <3 Chocolate (It was for Easter). My favorite one was my I <3 Chocolate so I mean who doesn’t love chocolate!!?

We also hockey, math facts, lap, Michael Mitchell and Our ASSEMBLY!
I had a great school year! ☺
This year was great. We played hockey and I was goalie. We ran laps and I ran 50 metres. Our class got first place in running. In novels we read Mice at Center Ice, The mouse and The Motorcycle and Geronimo Stilton. My favourite novel was Geronimo Stilton.
We played guitar and Ms. Newton taught us 3 chords D, A7 and G. We went to a lot of field trips and our first field trip was the Burnaby village museum and second field trip was the Vancouver aquarium and then we went to Munscha Mia. We did a lot of art. We did sgraffito, oil pastels and chalk pastel.
I had the best year ever!
In Characters my favourite was Disney and , the Canucks vs Boston and elephants painting. On our last field trip we saw a blue whale skeleton at the Biodiversity Museum at UBC. We also went to Munscha Mia on Granville Island.
This year we did characters. In characters we went to Paris and to two Canucks games. We wrote about our character’s neighbourhoods and about their pets. We even wrote letters to Santa in characters. We wrote about chocolate and we wrote about a treasure in their attics.
This year we learned how to play three chords on the guitar. We learned the chords D, G and A7. We also wrote 3 songs. They are called “It’s A Brand New Day”, “It’s A Brand New Game” and “It’s Been A Great School Year”. It was fun.
We had lots of sales. They were mostly popcorn sales. We had only one cupcake sale. We had lots of pizza days
We also had lots of field trips. We went to Burnaby Village Museum, the Aquarium and the Beaty Biodiversity Museum. We also went to Munscha Mia.
This year we learned a hip hop dance. All the classes learned different hip hop dances. We had an assembly where every class performed their dances. It was obviously in school. It was super fun.
This year we had lots of assemblies. Each division had their own assemblies. On Friday we had a teacher assembly/cross country assembly. On that day I had to leave school early. We also had the dance assembly ☺
