What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It has been a spectacular week a painter named Mark brought his parrot named Ajax!! But the best was we painted our clay pots. Then we ran! In characters we made pets. We also painted our leaves.
Hi this is Sophia.This week we painted our pots. I painted my pot blue with pink stripes. It looked really good and it was really fun!!!!!!
Also, Mark the painter brought his pet parrot to our class. He was gray with a red tail. Ms. Newton held him in her hand. And Mark told us two stories about when he lost the parrot. I can’t believe he found it even though he flew over the Fraser River!
Also we had a run in the sun it rhymes. And that was alot of fun. I ran with Anju. When we were running we saw a lost dog poster. The dog’s name was Chico.
I had a fantastic week!!!!!! 🙂
This week we ran in the sun. I ran 3 laps!
Also, Mark the painter brought his pet parrot to visit us, his name is AJAX. He was shy so he did not talk but Ms. Newton got to hold him on her hand!
Hey guys I’m back and this week was great because we got to play with clay and that rhymes. We also got to play kick the can 3 times, it was so much fun. We ran 3 laps in total and I was tired. I’m a little sad because The Canucks lost. 🙁
This week has been spectacular! We’ve done so many things like Characters, clay, painting AND… a parrot came to our class.
In Characters we did my pet. For my pet we had to write our own paragraphs. It was a little bit stressful because we had a substitute teacher while we were doing characters.
In art this week we did clay. We made a slab pot and a pinch pot. It was really fun. After the clay pots dried we painted them a reddish pink. After that dried we did a design on the outside with a light green turquoise.
I had a spectacular week 🙂
I had a great week. I saw a parrot. We drew a parrot and we ran. We also played kick the can. We drew a pet and we cut it out.
