What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

NOW the fun part, we painted clay pots! They were pinch pots and slab pots. The slab pots were painted with blue underglaze. We used Turquoise underglaze for designs. I did strips with little dots inside the two lines. The pinch pots were pinkish redish with turquoise designs. We also did characters, we did MY PET and I made a hamster her name is Jade.
We also had a painter named Mark he brought in his parrot named Ajax. We wanted him to talk.. but he was too shy. We also did tons of runs outside around the track. On Thursday we had a sub teacher Miss Ho. While we were running we saw a lost dog poster on a tree. The dogs’ name was Chico he is very fluffy. He is owned by a girl named Chanel. We also glazed our leaves. We also painted them with Mason stain. The colours were orange, yellow, brown, brownish red and dark orange.
We also did characters, it was really fun. We wrote about my pet like I said before I have a hamster for my character (and in real life!) : ) anyways i have to go now BYE!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel better now! : ) 🙂 : ) : ) 🙂
I want Vilaysone back! oh well, thanks for your message Vilaysone!
On Monday we had a pro D day.
On Wednesday we underglazed our slab pot and a pinch pot.
On Tuesday the painter Mark brought a parrot. He was an African grey parrot. His name was Ajax and Ms.Newton got to hold him. We also got to see how big his wing was.
I WANT VILAYSONE BACK! THIS WEEK WAS A SPECTACULAR WEEK!!
Hi! This is Anju from Kingswood. This week was spectacular! So now I am going to tell you about this week. First I am going to tell you about how we played with clay. Last time we got maple leaves and we used x-acto knives. Then yesterday we did sponge paintings on them. We used mason stain.
We also got to see a parrot called Ajax. One reason we know it’s name is because it was a painter’s parrot. And the painter’s name was Mark. Ajax was very shy.
And also we got to paint the pinch pots and the slab pots we had made last time. We painted the slab pot blue and very light green and we painted the pinch pots pink and very light green. It was so awsome.
Also yesterday Ms.Newton was sick so we had a substitute named Miss Ho.
Well I am going to tell you again but this week was spectacular and of course I loved it!
I had a great week!
We saw a parrot his name is Ajax. His owner is one of the painters named Mark. On Wednesday we got to use Mason stain to colour our leaves that we made out of clay. We used sponges to dip in the Mason stain. Then we put the sponges on our leaf prints. On Thursday we had a substitute teacher her name was Miss Ho. We also had gym on Thursday we basically could play anything we wanted to play.
We also wrote about our pet. Sadly I never finished it soI had to work on it on Friday to finish it.
It was a great week. Yesterday we went to Gym. We had a choice day I played hockey with Roman and Ryan. Mark came in our class with Ajax, he was too shy to talk. Ajax was an African Grey parrot. He was really friendly.
This week was awesome! In characters we did our rough draft for My Pet. It was fun.
This week we also did clay. In clay we painted our pinch pots and slab pots. We painted them with underglaze. We painted our pinch pots pinkish-red and our slab pots are blue.:)
