What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It’s been a spectacular week!
This week we did so many things I don’t even know where to start! We did things like Characters, Math, Hockey, ”LOTS” of art (of course because that’s what Ms.Newton loves to do) and Timbits.
Okay so lets start of with characters. In characters this week we did My Pet. So far we’ve made a pet out of construction paper. Dasha and I made a guinea pig It was fun. Since it’s Friday today I’m pretty sure we are going to start the writing for my pet today. It’s been so much fun doing my pet in characters.
This week we played hockey with Ms.Newton. It was really fun because there were no goalies and we had to pass to someone before we were allowed to score a goal. (Mostly all the boys score goals they never even pass to the girls).
This week was A-W-E-S-O-M-E
This week we had computers with Mr.Naso. We made a restaurant menu. We had to make up our own restaurant name. The name of my restaurant was The Italian House.
Also, we did characters. Our characters are going to the Canucks game on Sunday. We made five paragraphs. The first paragraph was the introduction and hook, the second paragraph was about our characters favourite players, the third paragraph was about what our characters are going to eat, the fourth paragraph was about the game summary and the fifth paragraph was the conclusion. 🙂
In guitar this week we played Polly Wolly Doodle. We usually sing Polly Wolly Doodle every time we play guitar and this week we did a really good job!
In Characters on Thursday we wrote about our character going to a hockey game. My favourite part to write about was eating at the hockey game. I wrote two pages. I also mentioned Ms.Newton in the hockey game. It was really fun.
In clay this week we made maple leaves and slab pots. It was too much fun!
In compter this week with Mr.Naso we got to make a restaurant menu. My restaurant’s name is The Italian Express. It was great.
I had a spectaculaur week 🙂
