What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
I had a great week. Yesterday we went to gym and we played hockey. I scored two goals and Noah scored one goal. We played the guitar . 🙂
This was a great week. This week used clay to make a leaf print. We went outside and hunted for Maple leaves. Then we kneaded the clay to get it to be soft then we made it into a ball and we rolled it with a rolling pin. Then we put the leaf on the vein side down and we outlined and peeled the leaf off. Then we cut with an x-acto knife, it is sharp! Today is pizza day. Mmmmm!
This week was awesome. We got to work with clay. We made leaf prints first we got the maple leaves from outside. Then we made it a ball and then we started slamming it against our desk. After that we put two pieces of wood beside it. Finally we flattened the ball and we put leaves on the clay. We took the x-acto knife and cut the leaf print.
This week we also had painting done inside our school and we don’t even have a water fountain. We also made a restaurant menu. It was so much fun to make it! so BYE have a great weekend!
Hi this is Anju from kings wood! I had a spectacular week! We played with clay. We made maple leaves out of clay. We also made pinch pots out of clay. I was kind of nervous when I was going to use the x-acto knives. But I felt better when Mrs.Newton said that it is okay if you are smart. We also did characters. Our characters are going to a hockey game. And our pod is getting painted so we had to put our back packs in the hall. In guitar I realized that now I know how to play my guitar with out looking at the chords! On library day I got two Bone books. Also Sophia got two Bone books too! One exciting thing today….. PIZZA LUNCH! When we were doing our spelling test I got my pretest right and also my real test right. I feel happy! Have a great day!
Hi its Emma. This week was awesome!!!!! here’s what we did. On Monday: pinch pots, computers, painting in our school started. Now Tuesday: our characters are going to a hockey game! slab pots and gym. Now on to Wednesday: guitars, characters, gym, computers and made an restaurant menu mine was called the pizza place! And now we will skip up to Friday: pizza day, spelling test, characters, math and that’s all bye! 🙂
HI everybody this week was amazing because we did a lot of clay. It was so fun we made a pot. I thought it would be hard for me and it was.
A few minutes ago I had a snow fight and we played hockey in gym with no goalies. I lost and I’m sad because the Canucks lost the game against Chicago. Oh well, next time!
