What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It has been a GREAT WEEK! The band played some Christmas songs. I don’t remember any of the songs the band played. The choir sang some songs. I remember one of the songs they sang. It was called ” there’s a big red fella in the chimney”. There was also performance . I don’t really know what it was called but they sang ”Grandma got run over by a reindeer. It was very funny. I had a GREAT WEEK!
I had a great week. After our Christmas concert I got McDonalds. We also got to play hockey in gym I scored 5 goals the last goal was the winning goal! My favourite in this term was finding out Ms.newton loves hockey!
I had a great week. We sang four songs called He’ll be comin down the chimney,Christmas times a comin,Nuttin for Christmas and Old Toy Trains. I was so tired after the concert because we had to sing the songs three times. My legs were hurting a little after standing so much.The band concert was amazing. They played so much songs. When everyone was playing the ground was shaking. In math we started subtraction. It was not so hard after all. We did borrowing in math. The assembly was funny because Matthew was the grandma. So the reindeer ran over grandma.
This week was awesome. We got to play with bubble letters in our art journal which was hard but fun I love making new things in my art journal like sharks and dinosaurs and animals like reindeer and fish, tigers. We got to play hockey in the gym and we got to play in the hockey box!
This week we went for a run around the track. The maximum was 4 and if you didn’t want to run 4, you’d have to run 2, no walking! I did four times around. I was the second one to finish. Some of my classmates are really good at running!
We were also practicing our bubble letters in our art journal. I think it is hard to learn to do bubble letters. I learned all of the letters last year but it is good to go back and review what we did last year.
This term was great!!! It was great when we first started Characters. We made our characters out of cardboard. Then we put clothes on our characters, we cut cloth and glued it on. Then we wrote about it. We have written about where they live, what job they have, what kind of pet they have and we have even gone to a hockey game and written about all the good food we got to eat!
This term was absolutely amazing!
