What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Well, the holidays are over and it’s time to go back to school! I am excited to hear about what everyone did to celebrate the season and I look forward to a brand new term. Of course that will mean more art, more hockey, more stories about mice and maybe even an opportunity to learn about elephants and whales! Maybe our song that is being written will get finished? I know we will have fun putting our assembly together and we are even going to the aquarium! Looking forward to it all!

YAY ! more hockey and more mice books! I can’t wait to learn about elephants and whales. It’s so awesome to go back to school! I love going to the aquarium. There are a lot of different fish that are really cool!

our Christmas concert we sang 5 times. We
sung He’ll Be Coming Down The Chimney,
Christmas Time’s a Coming, Nothing For
Christmas, and Old Toy Trains. We also got
to sing at a school dress rehearsal assembly
so we got to sing for the whole school.
This week the choir people were singing
Christmas songs at the grade 6/7 band concert.
I Had An Awesome Week!
It was a great week my favourite part about this week was choir. We sang for the whole entire school. it was so scary and cool at the same time. At first I was so scared then I sung my heart out and then it was not scary. On Wednesday night me and my class had our Christmas concert.
This was a really good term.We started to play with clay quite early in the year.We’ve made alot of things out of clay so far. In this term we got our report cards. I got meeting expectations on every thing my parents were very proud of me. I was late everyday or so I thought anyway. I was only late 3 days of the year!! BIG surprise!!!! This term math was a bit of a struggle for me. Not adding but things like 89-92=what!! that is crazy mostly the borrowing, I hate borrowing it is the worst math I have ever done and I have done alot of math.Borrowing is quite stumping.This term I think I have been doing really well in spelling I get 10 out of 10 almost always. This week was the best week ever. The best thing about this week was when we sang the songs at our Christmas concert.The songs we sang were He”ll be Comin Down The Chimney, Christmas Time’s A Comin, Nuttin For Christmas, And finally Old Toy Trains. Avery, Jenny, Heather and I were sweating like pigs. After we were finished our concert at 7:30 we went to the mall and we got pizza. We got pizza and I got two pieces. This week was the best week ever!!
