What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

A tenant texted me that her mini fridge wasn’t working. I wrote her that it needed defrosting. She did that , and as the ice receded she found the sensors began to work again. I so appreciated her steps to follow through on my suggestion.
I called a friend as I was driving and mentioned one thing I’m really enjoying is working with ‘grace’. We talked for a few minutes about that, and some movies / series she was enjoying and ended the call.
She later did some further thinking about grace and sent me a link to a very thoughtful blog post about it.
I really appreciated her follow up and gracious sharing.
I wasn’t paying attention and I missed the deadline for registering my students for an out of town festival we’ve liked to go in. We’ve been going for at least the last 8 years.
Dec. 31 was the last date. Up to Jan 7 registrations could be submitted with double
the fees. I just got a note from the chair saying happy new year and that they had
had barely any registrations this year and hopefully would have a better season
next year. I wrote back that I had missed the deadline and I had about 24 entries
I would have made and if anything could be done with late fees, i would stay up all night and get them in. She wrote back to say I could register with no late fees, and how soon could I get them in.
Got it done in the next hour.
I shared this with them:
“The quality of mercy is not strained.
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.”
A friend’s website that is hosted on my account, had a recurring notice about PhP needing updating. IONOS provided a workaround but charged us an extra monthly fee.
Hearing that the friend wanted this resolved, I contacted the hosting company at 8 pm and an IONOS tech walked me through it so patiently. It resolved over a year of notices and extra charges. I had highlighted the problem that I thought the site creator would have resolved, but never did.
Left me with a ‘cared for’ feeling by IONOS.
Yesterday, the reflection on the lake was so clear and perfect!
Since our conversation on Dec 26, your words about capturing good moments large or small came back to my mind many times. They have made a huge difference on me. I remember yesterday or some day, I woke up, opened my eyes, and the feeling of being “complete” struck me again. The feeling was still fresh, alive, strong. That “complete” feeling established an all-encompassing model/shape, helping me to recognize love, large or small, strong or light.
