We got this rocker from Loni’s grandparents decades ago. It’s been reupholsteredand well taken care of, but no longer needed. We advertised it for some time and then shifted it to UsedVictoria. Today a couple came in a van and the woman picked up the chair all on her own. “I work in a kitchen, and pick up bags of flour all the time.” We’re thrilled to give it a new home in her living room and give us more room in our common room. She was so impressed with its great condition.
City engineering put up new parking signs this afternoon indicating new parking regulations for our road. A parking officer told me that they will respond to any illegally parked cars on our private road. We’ve not had this relationship before.

After she picked it up she wrote to say, “You made my day.”
