What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

I have been making cashew cheese for some friends who don’t eat dairy products. Even at my wholesale store cashews are $20 a kg. I saw these raw cashews listed there for $11.20 a kg and accidentally bought a bag of what looked like tiny crumbs of cashew. My daughter dubbed them cashew bellybuttons, because it looks like they are the little hinge part that attaches the two halves of whole cashew. Not having any other use for them, I tried them in my cashew cheese recipe today and they are awesome…. and almost only half the price!
Another really interesting phone call with a woman who really likes the Green Drinks Zoom. In Round 2 she came up with the idea to be willing to be pulled out of any group and exchanged into another group. With that set before hand it guarantees more exposure and connections. Really made me see these Break Outs in a new way.
On a side note she had said with her busy day could we talk at night. She phoned me at just the right time in the evening. We didn’t talk for long, but it brought up this great nugget. I love developing a profile of each guest.. then we can better shape their experience to meet their needs.
The time for a new conversation is NOW
A police officer I know was looking at my web site, saw that the book was available at UVic Bookstore, ordered it and picked it up. When he saw some of the pages from the book on the site, he felt the layout of the pages, the use of whitespace makes the book inviting.
We’ve had a number of conversations over the years about the power of the ideas in this ‘practice’. He’s now seeing the impact of talking on the phone rather than email.
Classism, Racism and the Climate Emergency
I attended a 3 day workshop this past weekend with 200 other people online to think and learn about how the working class is the future especially in direct production as we have seen in the pandemic. We white working class people worked on our racism, how it works, how we can heal from it and take action against it. The people of the global majority did their own work on racism’s hurts. Language translation helped the Latinos from Central and South America be an integral part and we English speakers learned how not to dominate. Building relationships with the diversity of people is how we will build a movement large enough to transform our world as it collapses.
We had another Green Drinks Zoom last night with 12 people… from Ottawa, Banff, Nanaimo, Colwood and Victoria. Lots of good connections, conversations and stories. Our new User Bios really helped people make the most of their time in their groups with strangers.Even people who missed the meeting told me people the would like to meet in the coming days when I phoned them as a follow up..
That telephone followup participants took only a few minutes.. yet provided opportunities for further connections, and insights to improve their experience.
Every hosting opportunity provides lots of ways to learn more about Zoom.
