It’s the end of my birthday week and in true Gemini style I managed to celebrate almost every day! Cakes, flowers, reflexology spa treatment, a new crystal for my garden and some wonderful celebrations with family and friends. My birthday cup and my heart are full. Thought it would be fun to add a blast from the past beach party picture from when we lived in Sandspit, Queen Charlotte Islands as it was called in the 60’s. My mom always baked 2 cakes (one chocolate and one angel food) as my Irish twin sister Kim is one year younger than me and we always celebrated together. This year my beautiful daughters continued the tradition and baked one of each for us when we gathered as a family. Life is great and I’m feeling very blessed. ✨💕
Weeding in the depths of our two tree ‘orchard’ I uncovered these beautiful Calla Lilies, totally engulfed in morning glory. What a reward to the extensive, early-morning weeding I undertook.
Went for a lovely walk with Chips & Gravy Parkinsons walking group on trail near Mattick’s Farm this afternoon. Beautiful weather. The trail was the busiest I have seen it. Every time I have done this walk, the weather has been completely different. A new experience every time. First time I have walked with them in about 2 months! Good to see them. Wore a mask when I went into A Stable Way of Life to wish them the best in their retirement.. Hand sanitizer at the door & pleasant greeting. Beautiful day. Creation is a blessing. lets look after the earth & each other.
