Good turnout at a monthly church fellowship lunch. Some fresh faces… People have a good time.
A pleasure working with Thrifty Foods deli as they adjust their pricing to make it a win-win. Apparently we are the only customer who request cardboard pizza boxes rather than plastic trays for the sandwiches.
Took a complex repair into Gar Fung, the wonderful seamstress. Picked it up on time a couple of days later… $6. Cash only.. They also do eTransfers I saw. I just love that place.
I actually see more with words than with images, because of the images I get from words, particularly written words, are more real than the fleeting photons that hit my eyes. I realize that many people see the beauty of reality, but to me that is surpassed by the beauty of imagination. In comparison, reality is a pale imitation, limited by physical constraints, of which there are so many.
As I am looking out at the lake view and thinking of all of God’s wonderful works and that we are wonderfully made too and that everything is very good. There is progress happening now, the fear and pain are fading.
It’s still early in the morning, but Randy gave me a wonderful start with his regular visit on his way to work. It always sets the mood for the day, and makes both him and me very happy. As do the visits from you
Had another in our Campus Conversation series at the MutliFaith Centre at UVic last night. Wonderful questions.. many about leading a minimalist lifestyle.. It provided a unique opportunity to share what many students are looking at, but not knowing how to manifest.
