I’ve been going for a walk with Katy and Romeo after work. There’s a new trail that goes all around the development, it’s about a 3 km walk and I really enjoy it. We’ve had fantastic weather and so far we’ve gone on the walk in the sun twice this week. Feeling the spring fling with the sun ☀️
I had an amazing experience as I left the Green Drinks gathering on March 10th. I was heading out the door and a women stopped me and commented -wow are you ever well put together!! and then bowed and wished me all good thing in my life. What an uplifting experience!!!
Wow… So many good things about staying in the city all day, including Green Drinks. Win-win-win. Thanks for showing up .. and sharing!
Gave a presentation at the “55 + Lifestyles” conference on What’s Gone Well . Definitely a unique audience that happened to be sitting down at that particular time. Preparing for it really focused my thinking about the process, and readies me for some upcoming gigs. Appreciated that the organizer of the whole conference stayed and watched for the 10 minutes.
Following it a great friend who was working at the conference came over and we then had some important conversation between clients coming to her booth.
In recounting a What’s Gone Well experience with a bus driver, to a friend tonight, after only a sentence or two, she asked if the driver’s name was ‘Wendy’. And it was.! Gave me further insight as to the ways Wendy added to the experience on her flights when we was a flight attendant.
Your visit this evening was not only the icing on the cake, it was the whole cake, icing and all. It was a rephrasing of the advice that Eleanor and I were given at a lobster supper in PEI, which we reformulated as “we have good feet, so we will go where they take us”. It was good advice for Eleanor and me, which we activated retrospectively for 76 years.
Eleanor is no longer with me in body, but she is still very much with me. murrayneleanor is still alive and well, even in its truncated form.
