Yesterday, I had a lovely, calm feeling all day, I feel very loved and blessed. Also been thinking about Psalms 91, very comforting
Just to let you know, another delightful, delicious, delovely day. Dinner with Jeff and Lixi to top it off.
I had my head surgery today, so my head is all bandaged, but nothing hurts. Your treatment works fine.
I had so many joys today that it is difficult to pick on one. The day started with Khatt purring in my left ear, and will probably end in the same way. But I suppose the best single moment was the walk to the walkway at Ogden Point. No big deal, I used to be able to do that with no difficulty, but recently my walking has been seriously compromised, and so this was a major achievement today (helped, of course, by the magnificent weather).
One of the many joys of getting old is that you can be delighted by being granted the opportunity to do what you used to take for granted.
I suppose that a major joy in old age is the lowered expectations, so that it become easier to do more than you expected to be able to do.
As always, I thank my good luck. I am a very lucky man. Even though I miss Eleanor so much, but am so thankful that she died before me.
I have so much good in my life, I am truly blessed! I have a wonderful husband, a loving and caring family and friends, a loving and supportive practitioner/teacher. I live in a beautiful place,
I pruned the blueberry bush and planted some marigold seeds. My mom came over to look at my seedlings I planted last week and we had some lovely time together over tea.
