What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

I was recently visiting an exhibit in one of the downtown hotels and was
a bit stiff from all the slow walking and standing so I sought out a place to sit.
It so happened that the only conveniently accessible place was a wide window ledge to the right of the welcome desk. As I sat I closed my eyes to rest them from the bright lights. Within seconds I heard a gentle voice: “Sir are you alright.”
I quickly opened my eyes and saw the welcomer smiling at me.
“Yes, thank you, I am fine.”
“Would you like me to get your a glass of water” the conversation continued.
“No thank you.”
“I hope I didn’t seem intrusive but I thought you might need some assistance.”
“Thank you very much for showing your concern.”
“Well, we all have to look after each other, don’t we?”
It’s been a decade since I began writing my first novel, and it has gone through many stages and revisions. Just last week I was offered representation by a top New York literary agency — a major milestone in selling my novel to a large US publisher (hopefully) and possibly film/TV rights. Feeling very blessed right now.
I’ve started Experimenting with my “space garden” which is officially called the OGarden Smart. My goal with this technology is to have a year-round indoor harvest to supplement the small outdoor garden.
Yesterday my partner and I went to Mychosen Cafe in Metchosin to purchase some local organic seeds for both the outdoor garden this year and my indoor experimental space garden.
Following that, I Planted about 25 different types of seeds into 30 pods as an experiment. In 21 days I transfer them to the wheel! I’m really excited about this possibility and eager to grow and refine. (Pun intended!)
I’m at a hotel in a small beach town in Mexico (lack of identification intentional)
Lorena, who runs the hotel, borrowed a truck yesterday, and took ten of us to a beautiful place on a nearby river where there are thermal hot spots, so you can go from hot water near shore, to cool water in the river. We spent about three hours, covered ourselves with beautiful black mud, rinsed off in the river, ate perfect organic papaya from Lorena’s family farm nearby, and went back to the hotel for siesta. There were Mexican families there, no other tourists. Just a spot on a river. What a gift, for Lorena to share with us.
All I can say is, Saturday night was
Quick kiss with my husband,
Down to my father’s former home on Eberts to play with my granddaughter for a few minutes, and to find in the house the several items my Dad needs.
Off to Somerset to see Murray, my father..
Sheer and pure and entire joy at finding the items he needed,
And when I saw his smile and received his thanks, felt what Family is
Went to UVic’s Cinecenta’s “Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood” .. wonderful film. Fit so well with our evening meal which we cut short at a restaurant due to their mistakes and shortages. They comped the meal that I partly ate.
