On Thursday my daughter was working in Vancouver, so I picked up my grandchildren from school. This is always a fun thing in itself, but when their father came to collect them he brought me a Christmas tree. He had stopped to get one for their house and got another for me. While there he said he noticed there was some moss on my roof, and suggested that he should come over to check the gutters and remove the moss. I am always so grateful for the thoughtfulness and loving support of my children.
Hugs for a few items over
.
I had to pick up a few things at the grocery store. You know those short check outs where you are only to have about 10 items. So I roll up and the gentleman in front of me was apologizing to the teller for having broken the item rule.
She said apologize to that lady and he looked at me and pleaded his error.
I said, “no problem.” –
I continued if you had not apologized I could not have forgiven you – so you see it all worked out.
Then he asked to hug me and went around to the teller and hugged her. Then declared he probably had broken a rule doing that.
Then I said, “Well you know rules are made to be broken and now we all have a great story to tell today and we all got a hug out of your few items over .”
Today i could see many people sitting on the street with bonfires that i didn’t know why that is meaningful for people
Anyway my sons were very excited to play in the night with mom and daddy
Happy Christmas

A friend recently offered to travel from Vancouver to Victoria and back just to attend a stressful meeting with me. I fully got how much she loves me and how big her generosity is.
