Staff at the CBC Food Drive this morning were cheerful and thankful for my donation and for the fact that I did not want the scarf and gloves they were offering. Volunteers make a better world.
I work for my church, and a complete stranger who I got into conversation with yesterday and who is not currently practicing any particular tradition, expressed great faith in the health, vitality and value to the community of the future religious landscape in Canada. His expectation and faith made my day.
What wonderful stories people are posting!

When angels share their time with you!
They are so very subtle and they love to use others to make their presence known. The other day I was delivering a fair lady to a meeting and if something could go wrong it did. Best part was the exercise we both got trying to find our way! The next appointment day went like clock work – everything fell into place. I went to pay for the parking and there was a ticket sticking in the money hole. I thought oh dear – so I pulled it out and there was at least 1 1/2 hrs left. How thoughtful of someone to share their time with us- not in person but certainly in spirit GRATITUDE PLUS
I met someone a few days ago who enjoys talking about philosophy as much as I do. We had a very long, intellectually stimulating conversation and there will be more to come. This is exciting because I rarely find people to talk to about this kind of stuff.
