I am having a Rugby game today!
I had a great trip to Mexico, a well deserved vacation. When I got back on the 5th of September one of my new roommates did not have his rent money. I gave him until the 10th to have half of it or he would have to leave. I also said that I would be showing his room in the meantime because it’s not like me to sit and do nothing. Friday the 10th came and he left.
Previously I had interviewed a nice young man that wanted the room for Oct 1st. I said that would work if I could find someone who only needed a place till the end of the month. Well the next day I found a man and his nephew and a dog who needed something ASAP. The place they where going to rent fell through at the last minute and wound up a camp ground.
Coincidently that room happen to have a 2nd mattress on the bed (long story)
Because there were two people and a big dog I Was able to recover my losses.

I am amazed at how situations like this always seem to work out well or me. I never take it for granted but this time around I am so thrilled that it also worked out well for the lost campers and the young man in Vancouver too.
Phew, see why I want to rent to seniors now?

I have been searching for a job, with not many results when someone suggested that with my skill set I would make a great personal assistant and that I could also offer meal prep, cooking, organizing, cleaning and shopping. What a fabulous suggestion!
