Loni found a book we have been looking for, for almost a week. It was in exactly the logical place, where it should have been ( in a student’s cubbie in the office) but ‘had not been when checked earlier.’ Being totally conscious of where we put things down ( or stores things) really saves a lot of mental energy. Bringing more order into our homes is a big time saver.
I bought the wrong size of batteries.. which I discovered when I took them out of the package at home. I took them back and the clerk said, ” We can never take opened batteries back. I said, “never?”.. and left…
I went to another of their stores and they did allow me to return them. I started the conversation with , “I have a sad story.” Her response to my plight was wonderful.
Clearly seeing I’m an Infinite Being
I am an Infinite Being
Who is clearly seeing
I am not a piece of meat
and that is quite a feat
I am eternal spaciousness
I am God’s graciousness
Inside of me, I am a child of God
Inside of me, I am a child of God
I am an Infinite Being
Who is clearly seeing
Being calm to the core
There is a heavenly door
Where I can sit and listen
To the place where Christ has risen
Inside of me, I am a child of God
Inside of me, I am a child of God
I am infinite Being
Who is clearly seeing
Where creativity abounds
I can listen to these beautiful sounds
Of songs and singing lyrics
sitting still so I can hear it
Inside of me, I am a child of God
Inside of me, I am a child of God
I am an Infinite Being
Who is clearly seeing
Christ Consciousness is inside of me
Gods graciousness can set me free
With peace and harmony, to Uplift my soul
All the way into the deepest core
Inside of me, I am a child of God
Inside of me, I am a child of God
Om, Peace, Amen
I’m happy to report that just recently several details of my various activities have had a boost. Two people have been able to help me with my art hobby, in one case learning to use her own machine better, and another was happy to clear out some of his possessions which I can use. Also I’ve found someone to offer me another care service that is sometimes needed.
I assume people want to help, I assume they want to share their information, and I assume they want people involved in stuff… so I’m inclined to, you know, jump in. Help with maps, answer questions they asked staff, walk around the counter and replace the till tape
I was giving a short speech about homeschooling for a parents’ group from a daycare and ended up MCing the rest of the speakers and moderating the Q&A at the end… the organizer was SO thankful that I’d just stood there and did it, since she didn’t know how. I didn’t ask her, though –the vacancy was blatant, so I stepped in
Many years ago while I was still employed full time my job consisted of taking care of clients and their needs. At a staff meeting the manager asked for a volunteer to introduce new products and list the many benefits etc.,to a group of 200 seniors. There was no response to this request so I offered to take it on.I immediately regretted it as I had never even spoken to any group larger than 2 or 3 people at once. The presentation went well but not immediately as people began calling out ” speak up” speak up” This was a little disconcerting as there was a speaker system set up and so I felt like sinking through the floor. As it turned out the previous speaker had turned off the mike and the switch was broken so after the repairs had been made I started from the beginning and everything went well. Looking back on this incident I realize that it changed my life forever and confidence is the key word.
