What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

The creative Mind never ceases to amaze me. Someone told me the other day, that when they feel that there is an inharmony in their lives, they like to look at a blade of grass. It reflects pattern, Life, growth, strength, understanding. It gets right back up again when it’s stepped on. It “listens”, and just knows what to do. It’s humble and peaceful. It is in its nature to grow towards the sun. We can remember that we all reflect these qualities too, always, and will grow, be humble, strong, and reach for the sun. It’s in our nature. And only good will flourish from this understanding.
Had a lovely walk today and an uplifting chat with a woman I have seen on the trails many times. She has a wee dog, very cute but he was under a veterinarian’s care for sometime. Today they were together on a walk and both had wonderful smiles on their faces and a lot of love shining through.
Really heart warming – another reason to give thanks.
Out of adversity, we explore, learn and make new meanings. I did a couple of interviews with my phone and needed to do some light editing. The volume needed increasing. Online help didn’t make sense. It came to me to use the UVic help desk ( for staff) and they passed me on to Software Support ( R) She was very helpful.
Was asked to write a blog post for Spiritually Speaking in the Times Colonist. When I changed my thought of it to an opportunity, the ideas flowed.
Exploring the possibilities of Linked In which I joined in the 90’s. In adding some connections I made contact with someone I met for a week last summer in Massachusetts. Turned into an thoughtful, timely discussion today where ‘the penny dropped’ a couple of times.
Got a wonderful call from a friend full of appreciation for the collaborative spirit between us. I told her about a ” Green Projects ” initiative that is brewing to help tourists be more aware of progress in the area. She and I had talked about a similar approach for locals. She can now connect some dots and explore more possibilities around this.
I finally got around to filling out my application to volunteer as a big brother. The idea has been popping up into my mind frequently over the last couple years but I never seemed to commit to it. There is currently a 2 year waiting list for little guys who just need 2 – 4 hours of positive male influence and mentoring per week. I feel that this is a very important way to give back to the community. Looking forward to meeting my little bro.
I now live and work in places where I hear more birds than cars and near the first place I ever fought for (Swan Lake), all of this and the love around me is a huge gift.
I’ve got a job at Courtenay Medical Associates as a Medical Office Assistant.
It’s a full time job, which is great, and I’m actually really loving it.
My favourite part is that I get to weigh tons of cute little babies
everyday!
I’m also volunteering at the pool on tuesdays and thursdays, just to get
some experience. It’s a fair amount of work, but I adore teaching all
these kids how to swim. It’s really rewarding, not to mention a nice way
of cooling down after a day at work.
I also got asked to accompany a musical theatre class for their dance
recital. I loved being able to learn a song fairly quickly and be a part
of the show. It was a piece from Shrek the Musical, and actually quite a
cute one. Lots of little kids dressed up as donkeys!
