We went on a walk to see the bunnies in the park near the university. There were black, white, orange, mixed and gray. I don’t usually see bunnies alot.
Today we went to the Empress Hotel to have Tea. The Tea was mostly desserts. We are staying at the Hotel for two nights.
We got to come up on the train from Portland to Seattle. I had never been on a train before so it was new and special. It was really cool to listen to the whistle of the train.
I got to have High Tea at the Empress. The China was very pretty. The food was elegant.. The room was very nice. When we were almost finished eating, the room was almost full.
I got to take a call at work!! And it was a compliment call, a lady loved her arrangement so much she thought she should call and tell us.
Job is going great! Busy busy busy, and I’m adjusting to the working routine again. Feels awesome to be productive and part of something again. I am working on the Island Highway Improvement Project (IHIP) in View Royal. Several upgrades to mitigate safety and traffic issues, and minimize carbon emissions: widening the road, adding sidewalks and bikelanes, cool storm water rain gardens in the median, improved bus stops. Should prove to be an exciting and challenging experience. Great team, too! I actually can’t believe my luck in landing this position. Suits my skill set to a tee, plus my boss is all about communicating in an open, honest, and positive environment.
