What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
hey Avery! It must be nice in Montreal, what are you going to do there. I herd about your cat he or she must be pretty stinky. Did you hear about the new song we wrote it is based on the song “Its a brand new game” but the song is called “Its been a GREAT school year”

I hope Keiko is settled too. I heard about the riots it was awful.
These past 3 days have been very busy. We moved into our dream house I unpacked my entire room( the mover just put my desk, bed, dresser, book shelf together the rest was me ) I love it now! My adorable kitty Keiko ( if you prefer Keikos or Keiko baby) Has been adjusting quite well. I did not even have to take her out of my room unwillingly to get her out of there. The weirdest part so far is that she has only gone #1 in her litter box just three times ( of living in our new house) and she goes in there you think she is using it? Well she might go #1 but then she just lies down in her litter box and sleeps there for like 15 to 20 minutes! Maybe it is cooler in there? She also sleeps in the fabric on the bottom of the couch the she moves even deeper in the couch and sleeps on the wood there! She is extremely weird plus now we have a big hole in the front of our couch thanks to her!
I saw the song you wrote It’s a Brand New Game! It was nice. That reminds me Mrs.Newton Did you see my all about Canucks post a few pages back? If so did you see the word Canucks written starting in the second paragraph!? It was very hard to do especially if the sentence was too long. And then there’s the fact that it is hard to come up with the sentences! If you did not see that certain post here is the Canucks paragraph!
Can the Canucks win next year? I sure hope so!

What do you think of that? The K and the U were by far the hardest to come up with but I did and that is what matters to me most! I am also upset about the Riots in Vancouver My mom’s friends on Face book said that they were ashamed to be living in Vancouver She also found out that a good friend of hers and mine got stuck there! She Got Tear Gassed and was REALLY sick for the next few days she is ok now though. My uncle and hid Girlfriend were there too the left literally right as they started though. My Mom’s Best friend and his brother left right before as well ! There are a lot more people I could talk about that got Tear Gassed and trapped but I would like to think of the positive now!

Wow, what a time you are having with your Keiko. It must be that she is learning how to live in your new house. It must be confusing for her.
I was very sad about the hockey game and the dumb people who rioted. Vancouver is a good city and whoever started the riot should be ashamed of themselves! I hope the Canucks win next year.

Hey Avery! It must be nice to be in a dream home. It has been a great year. It is really sad that you missed some of the things. But the riots that happened in Vancouver are really bad. Apparently there was a polo athlete from Maple Ridge and he was in the riots. Ms. Newton said that that teen’s scholarship might vanish because of his because of his behaviour.
Your cat might be pretty dirty because of it’s little naps in the litter box. It sounds really gross. But did we tell you about our spin off about “It’s a Brand New Day”? Well Chris Gailus got a hold of the video and he said that we might be on the news hour! But, we didn’t get any reply so we might not. Well I have to go so bye bye!

HA HA :). Why did Keiko scratch your couch, I can’t believe she did that. How old is Keiko.
Did you watch our song on youtube? Our song has over 300 views. And we were almost on the news. Ms.Newton sent the video to her little brother who is a rugby player, then sent it to his other friends and one of them sent it to Chris Gailus who is a rugby player too, And he works at the Global news network. So he was thinking of put us on the Global news. That was the story!

Wow Avery I am talking to you and am hoping the Canucks will win next year and the Bruins will not make it again. Vancouver feels a little sad but we WILLn make it next year.
I am so happy that you like the song It’s a Brand New Game. We all worked so hard to put everything together. We almost went on the news but we didn’t get to. But we still had fun because we got excited.

The riots were unbelievable and I’m also sorry to hear that your friend got tear gassed. Did yo hear that a BOSTON fan got pushed over the over pass. Everyone was ashamed of those people in Vancouver.

HI Avery we miss you a lot. I heard about the riots they were flipping cars and some on fire I was watching it on the news.
Everything good in Montreal? Hope so. Too bad we didn’t win the Stanley Cup. I hear that night people were being red behaviour. I also heard that people broke in stores. Everybody was doing it. If one doesn’t do it they would just be the odd one. So I think is is called crowd mentality. The day after everyone felt ashamed so they helped clean up the mess they did.
I think I have a idea with where your cat can sleep. On your bed, on your T.V., under your bed or huddling with your dog if you have one.

Ever one is sad about the hockey game too. But we will win the cup next year. On the TV I saw that there were lots of fighting Downtown and fires and some windows were broken but some people came Downtown to clean.

What a Spectacular week! School is almost over! I can’t wait until I find out who’s class I’m in!
I can’t believe we made it to the finals! We didn’t win, but atleast we tried our best and that’s what counts. Its the challenges that we learn from, and we get better and better as we go on.
Oh yeah. I ran 16 times around the track. 8 at lunch, 1 at gym and 7 with my teacher. It wasn’t that hard. I built up a lot of stamina this year. I try too think of calming thing
Its so sunny today, which reminds me. We were just looking at some relaxing sunflowers yesterday. We wrote a poem about sunflowers. It goes like this: (mine) I love sunflowers!

Goal! We play hockey in gym. I scored 3 hat-tricks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the goals I did was a break away! And a other was a assist. I back handed it to my team mate. He wrist shotted it and……GOAL!!!!! score was like 15 – 3 ( i think ).

I had a great week. Our team lost the hockey game 6-5 in gym but we played again later and we won 8-4. I watched the Canucks game we lost 4-0. In guitar we song the hockey song. There was a riot last night they flipped cars and my dad was there my mom was worried. The cops came early and tried to move the crowd.

I had fun watching the hockey game but we lost 4-0.We have to give the Canucks credit for making it this far.I’m so sad that there was a riot in down town Vancouver next to Rogers Arena. People were blowing up cars in the riot.
I ran twelve laps all day yesterday and I was very exhausted and tired. I ran 112 laps so far.
