What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
There is a teacher in my school who lives downtown right near the post office where all of the things happened. She says that there was all of the tear gas going into her house so she had to close up the windows and things like that. But yesterday there was all these people who got their own brooms and things to clean up the streets. I remember when I was a few years old I got some tear gas into my eye. I had to go to the hospital to get my eye cleaned out. Luckily it was old so it didn’t effect my eyes that much so, It could ave been worse.
We also did lots of running! The school track is EXACTLY 0.5 km.t I think in total I did 15 times around the track in 1 week. So that is 7.5k.
But after the game we were all kind of sad, So we did some sunflower therapy! We did some oil pastel portraits. We also made a poem about sunflowers. Then we went to the computer lab (where I am right now) to print out the things that we did in the Poem to Word! It was lots of fun. For fathers day we made some clay whales! It was a FUN process!

Our whole class did so much this week. And today (Friday) we get to play Kick The Can. K.F.C. I love playing Kick the Can it’s so much fun.
One day after the Hockey game we decided to do some Sunflower Therapy because we lost Game 7. But look on the bright side at least we came this far since 18 years!

I had a great week! Canucks went to game 7 and they lost to the Bruins. Awww :(.
But they did come in 2nd place. I give the Canucks credit for making it so far. Also, I watched the game with my family, it was fun to spend time with them.
We did how to succeed as a principal. We are doing this because our vice principal is leaving. We are doing you must never and you should always, we are giving her our advice on how to succeed as she starts her new job.
We ran a lot of laps. I ran at lunch and did 7. I ran with Ms. Newton, she did 5 and I did 5 too. I also ran with Mr. Mackay and did 1 which adds up to 13 laps in one day!
We also did a poem about sunflowers. And then we typed it on the computer and then printed it. We used oil pastels and drew sunflowers. We needed sunflower therapy yesterday!

This week was awesome! We played hockey and I scored two goals and James scored three times I assisted him three times.
We ran on Wednesday and Thursday I got six laps on Wednesday and four on Thursday. Two laps equals 1 kilometer.
It was sad Canucks did not win the Stanley cup but at least they tried their best. But that stuff that happened after the game was really bad it is wrong. Today on the news it was awesome to see that people were picking up the garbage.
Only eight days left!
Oh I am crushed! The Vancouver Canucks did not Win the Stanley Cup. The score was 🙁 4-0 and guess who we are circling? The 4 goes to 🙁 The Boston Bruins. The 0 goes to The Can….. I can’t even say but I have to don’t I. 🙁 Fine the glunucks! ( I am too sad to say or type it)
Can the Canucks win next year? I sure hope so!
All my faith would be lost if not! it would be 🙁 🙁 🙁

It Canucks! Not glunucks. and you should not be sad. At least canucks came in 2nd and I think the Canucks will win the cup next year.(knocked on wood.)
Did you hear about the riots that happened in Vancouver Avery? It has been absolute MAYHEM! It is really bad what happened. But where there was boarded up windows at The Bay, There is “The Wall Of Sorrow” which has apologies and things like that.
What a week. It was a great week. We wrote a song and it was called “It is a brand new game.”
It is almost the end of the year and then school will be out. I will be so happy. What a day yesterday was. We played hockey, boys vs boys and girls vs girls. We made clay whales. It was hard but fun. We went on a field trip on Monday to a museum. We saw a big whale. I had a great week.
