What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Wow! This week we went to a museum! it was so much fun!! We saw a giant blue whale skeleton. It was 90 ft! We went to the Biodiversity Museum! It was fun!
We wrote a song and it’s called “It’s a Brand New Game”. And you might know the song the “It’s a Brand New Day” I was singing with them! We wrote the song for the Canucks. They will win -Knocks on wood-
We did clay for Fathers Day! We made clay killer whales! It was fun and hard to make!
We had gym with Mr. MacKay. We played soccer Girls vs Girls and Boys vs Boys!
Today is a hockey game 😀 It is at 5:00! I can’t wait!

Oh lucky I wish I could have gone to the Biodiversity museum! Did you see my grandpa teaching in that area? He teaches over 200 students at on time that’s like teaching the entire school of Kingswood elementary! That is a lot ! Even though they are all the same grade . He says that once a student fell asleep in his class they got in so much trouble! 🙂 🙂
Wow this week we got to go to Biodiversity Museum. and there was a blue whale and it was 90 feet.
This week I also made whale out of clay it was so much fun it took lot of time and we made waves and for the waves we us a pencil.
This week we also played hockey. it was fun and we play soccer. and in soccer we did girl vs girl.
This week we also came up with a song.it is called it a brand new game. it is a hockey song. and it has some of the hockey players name in it.
Today there is a hockey game 5:00 and it is in Vancouver and I hope we win and it is so cool that we are in the Stanley Cup playofsf.
This week the grand 7and 6 did a concert for the school it was fun and they were so good at playing.
Wow I don’t now how but the week went so fast. This week we all went to the Biodiversity Museum.There is big whale there. We all did a scavenger hunt all around the Museum. I learned a lot of things at the Biodiversity Museum.
This week we did clay. We were making whales out of it. It was really hard to make the whales out of it.
This week we all made a song with our guitars. It was so hard to put the words together. Mrs. Newton did the D,G And A7. When we were finish the song we had to make a video and put it on W,G,W. we had a lot of fun.
This week we played soccer with Mr. MacKay. We had to do girl vs girl and boys vs boys. When we stared to play it was so hard to score a goal. When the game was finish the score was 1-0. It was fun
This week there was band concert in our school. It was grade 6 and 7 concert. They did a lot of work to us there Instrument. We had a fantastic time.
We went to a biodiversity museum and they taught us about adaptations. It is something that they need like a sea star more known as the star fish. Its adaptation is regeneration. Which means if a predator bites its arm, it grows it back.Right when we entered we saw blue whale bones. It was GIGANTIC!!!!! Researchers think it was hit by a ship and buried in the sand so it won’t smell. The people that buried it wanted the bones to turn out in a museum.
I HAD A SPECTACULAR WEEK!!!
I had a great week! We played hockey and I got a hat trick.We also did clay and we made a whale. The hockey for the Canucks was so bad they lost 8-1 and then they lost 4-0!
We went on a field trip to a museum. We saw a blue whale skeleton and we went to a lab and worked with microscopes to look at adaptations and then we went on a scavenger hunt.
In hockey I got a hat trick but we still lost 7-5. Marco got two goals and a shutout for his team. I also assisted Justin.
In clay we made a whale for Father’s Day it was pretty hard but I finished it. We had to do texture, waves and a whale!
Hopefully the CANUCKS win.

This week has been fantastic. We played hockey James scored a hat trick I was in goal I let in five goals and Jeremiah let in three .We needed to scored three more but We didn’t. We played soccer in the gym The girls vs girls and boys vs boys girls Scored one and for the boys it was a tie 0-0 The grils score was 1-0.
Our class made a song called it’s a Brand new game we put it on wgwt and you tube.
