What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Oh my goodness. this week has been really good. It is Thursday But im posting because tomorrow is to busy and I won’t be at school tomorrow. Tomorrow is sports day. Im going to be in kelowna on Friday.
On Monday we played Hockey in the gym and my team won! 🙂
On Tuesday we practiced drawing sunflowers. I thought my sunflower looked good.
On Wednesday we went on a field trip to this Jewish school and they did a Willy Wonka play. I thought it was cool.
Today we have characters. We went to the hockey game last night. Our title is Seeking Stanley.
Oh I got to go bye bye.
WOW! I had a fun week except for one thing. Avery left to Montreal=(. grace also left to china. We played hockey. we LOST! 4-1. We drew with charcoal. the thing we drew was rogers arena and its surrounding. that was for my characters. I ha A FUN WEEK!!!!
I really miss Avery but I’m still having a great week! I will always miss yo Avery :(. Canucks won the game last night 1-0 we are hoping Canucks will win the stanley cup.
We are going to have sports day tomorrow. It is going to be awesome.
We won the game last night! It was 1-0 for Canucks. Also this week we got to write about the game in our characters book and we drew a picture of Rogers Arena with a reflection using charcoal! Friday is sports day and my team is called the Green Galu. We also got to go to a Jewish school to watch a play. The play was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the play was sooooooo…..so…..so… long but at least it was free and the kids did a great job!

Thanks I am alright I really miss kingswood elementary but other than that I am fine! Also have you looked at the chocolate fudge cake recipe That I posted fow Mrs.Newton yet? What do you think about it It sounds delishouse!
I am in our apartment hotel at the moment it is tiny and I mean tiny tiny tiny! The kitchen is so small you can hardly move around in it and that is just one person never mind 2! Luckally we don’t need to live here for long in about um 3 or 4 weeks we will move into a beauty full houes it is HUGE just like Montreal itself! the bath room shower has a sliding door and the actual bath is sep-rit with a mini shower head. The kitchen and dining room are really big and pretty. The master bed room living room and my room are also huge. We even have a bas-ment suit all to our selves that includes a play room laundry room another bath room and guest room all down stairs! We would have upstairs and downstairs all to our selves! The lanlord is also so nice that he moes the front and back lawns plus in the winter where the snow is 4 ft high he plows it for us!
The neiborhood is made for familys to! I can run up the road rab a friend and the go home with them all by my self no super vision from an adult. Yesterday a woman helped us find that wonderful house. She showed us 3 houses but we liked that one so we are moving into it.
Here in Montreal they have no mountains. They have Large hills which they call mountains now we have told every body who talks about those mountains( large hills) that they are not mountains the rockies back home are mountains. There is one of the hills by where I currantly live( the apartment hotel) it is SO NOT A MOUNTAIN!!!!
WOW the wind just picked up it knocked over that bicycle down there( did I mention we are on the top floor with the most spiders and the best view of all)!!!! The ab-normal wind here is not cold it just whistles and blows hot air around. Nice but it does not really cool you down. The darn wind is so un-usual that while we were switching bank accounts it took an extra hour because it caused the lights to flicker which turned of the computer which erased all the info then we had to re-start every 10 minutes because the memory card stopped and we had to re-boot it!!!:( it was kind of funny while annoying though 🙂 🙁
We are staying in down town so there are not really any kids to play with just teen agers adults and alot of really nice food and museums.Montreal is 3 hours ahead from you guys so if here I am 6:20 a.m.! Oh wait speaking of time zones… The jet lag was odd On monday I woke up at 6:30 in the morning here but at home time it was 3:30 in the morning I was so darn tierd for the day I tried to sleep through dinner but my mom woke me up and made me eat. That just gave me energy and then not get to sleep for an extra hour! Now I am over the jet-lag so I have lots of energy right no that’s why I am writing about things to distract me from jumping off the walls! Also I am going to learn some more french get a french key board and then make a post in french wa ha ha! But then leon will use a translater and get it in english.But for now Leon you can translate this: Le garsone mange. une fee mange. Une homme. une feeme. Une homme mange. Une feeme mange. bounjour. au revoir.merci beaucoup. je vous remeci beaucoup mon ami.
Ok Leon are you happy now I don’t have the accent over the E but that is some of what I know can you translate for me using what ever it is that you use to translate? Tell me what it means when you figure it out then if you want the prenounceiation I can tell you exactly how to say it!

Did you watch the game last night?? If not, the next game starts at 8:00 Montreal time on Saturday night. We were very excited with the score of the first game, WE WON!!
Today in Characters we went to the game in Vancouver last night. We wrote about 1. how we got tickets, 2. before the game…getting food, souvenirs 3. the game – first period many penalties, names of players on Boston and Vancouver, score 1-0 with 19 seconds left 4. we met Luongo after the game 5. conclusion…
Also, search images for Rogers Arena Vancouver and you will find one with a reflection in front, we drew that with a piece of charcoal, you could use a pencil!

Wow Avery it is so good to talk to you write now. This week the class was making sun flowers. We had to pick our favorite sun flowers to make them in oil pastels.
Avery are you watching the hockey game. For characters we all went to a hockey game. We went to last night game. Mrs. Newton printed a Luongo pitcher. We have to drow Rogers Arera with charcoal. We were all messy.
