What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Wow this term was spectacular! We got to play hockey a lot with Ms. Newton it is so much fun! Also we get our report cards today, I am so scared I hope I get good comments, I have tried very hard.
We also had a TOC her name is Ms. Friesen. She was here for our teacher. She went to a hockey game and it was so cool also she gave us lollipops.
Today also is pizza day 😉
This term has been awesome! We played hockey and I also watched hockey on TV. The Canucks are doing so well!!
We all made clay elephants it was hard but we all did it we all so made smiles we had a subsatut her name is mis frisan we allso get awer re port cards to day ms fresan gav us all lolley pops this term is rely rely awesome i never want to leve like careasel thetor i never want to leve scool.
Is it almost SPRING BREAK already!! It cant be, this week I’m going to talk about this term, this term was great…….no, awesome…….no, spectacular!! we got to celebrate many, many special days like Valentines day & Halloween, but this week we got a toc named Miss Friesen & she left a note saying,”This was such a great class, as a toc this was by far the best class I ever had!! It was really nice of her to write such a great letter.
Things that really stood out for me this term were the field trips to the Aquarium, Burnaby village museum & the Carousel Theatre on Granville Island. At the Aquarium I really liked the bats they moved so fast, Also at the Carousel Theatre I liked the part when they acted some of Robert Munsch’s books.

Well spring break starts tomorrow and this time it is a whole 2 weeks! I do not know how to fit in all the great things that have happened and if i have time maybe some up coming things! I have done a lot of great things with a GREAT supportive teacher and of coarse GREAT amazing supportive friends and all i hope that i can fit in everything we’ve done!
We’ve started doing hand writing very recently but we learn more than 1 letter at one time! We learn 2 letters at a time and then use them in words. Ms.Newton says that slant is key to good hand writing and to try! Also i have figured out that each teacher will teach you different styles of hand writing which gives you a verity to choose from!
The art we’ve done is radical! Most recently we made clay elephant they we just fired in the kiln mine looks deformed! Also recently we have done sgraffito and some of ours have been framed and more will be soon as well! We also made clay smiles ! We painted them red , when they were fired in the kiln Grace , Yogeet and I pretended they were our mouths! Yesterday we finished our sun shines we might put them up by our rainbows in the class room!
We have been on a few field trips. Such as the aquarium my favourite part of that was the aripima a kind of fish and the burnaby village museum and my favourite parts of that was probably the school and the general store they were cool! And thiis week we went to Carousel Theater on Grandvill Island we saw the play Munscha Mia and it was based off of Robert Munsch stories!
One of the most famous sports we play in my class is hockey we play it watch the games and have tests for tickets i love playing goalie and or defence! Al though i let goals in some times!
On Tuesday we had a really nice sub in for Ms.Newton her name was Mrs.Frieson she left a note saying that we were the best class she has ever had! That felt good!

F-! No! No way I’m going to get a F-! I’m going get a A, yeah right! Really! No way, yes way, no way, yes way, no way…………no way, yes way, HA! report cards will be given out today, I’m so excited! Hope I get atleast one A. Hopfully even more!
This post is going be WHATS GONE WELL THIS TERM. Well I’m going to start of with HOCKEY! We’ve played so much hockey and we’ve watched so many hockey games. Cauncks are on a winning streak, well hopfully. Yikes, are we going to win the Stanley Cup or are we going to go go 2st place?
Gym! We’ve been practicing our basketball skills. So far we are still practicing our dribling skills. Once we done doing that I think we should practice throwing the ball and making our hand postion right so we can score!
On Wednesday we had a TOC. She was great! She wrote a page full about how we acted so Ms. Newton knows what happened while she was sick/ apointment. And it was heart warming when Ms. Newton read a comment the TOC wrote. This is what she wrote. ” This was such a great class!” “As a new TOC this was BY FAR THE BEST CLASS I HAVE HAD!” Ms Newton read.

Hello! The week was so fast, too fast much too fast! I can not believe what happened to Japan! I feel so bad they had an earthquake and then a tsunami! I felt so bad I wanted to cry! 🙁 Poor Japan!
Well I’m really tired because we had to go and do chores after school and we didn’t get home until 10:38! Well night night!
