What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
I had a Fabumouse week! Speaking of Fabumouse we finished our book which was called the “Mouse and The Motorcycle”. I remember reading this book in grade one. Here is the exciting part Ms.Newton bought us fresh new Geronimo Stilton books! There are 34 books in the box. Each person in our class gets to pick a random. Some of the people didn’t listen and they took twenty minutes to choose there book I just grabbed a book.The book that I choose was #14 and the tittle was The Temple of The Ruby of Fire. So far I have red 29 pages and I think it’s a really good book. Really all of his books are Awesome! Let me explain who Geronimo Stilton is. Geronimo Stilton plays a mouse in all of his stories. Thea Stilton is Geronimo’s sister (She calls him Gerry Berry and convinces him to go on trips) (Did I mention he hates travelling) Trap is Geronimo’s cousin he love’s to eat! Last but not least Geronimo’s favourite Nephew Bejamin they both love each other and Bejamin is 9 years old.
This week we made clay elephants. (Here are the steps) #1 Make a ball with clay #2 Take your thumb and make a hole at the top of the ball #3 Take your thumb again and make lines on each side of the hole #4 Pull out the legs #5 Tap the top of the elephant and make the elephant long #6 Pull out the trunk #7 pull out the ears #8 Clay will be cold next day #9 Wait a week #10 Fire in kiln.
This paragraph is the coolest.You know why because Avery’s Grandpa brought a microscope in our classroom along with some dinosaur bones.David (Avery’s Grandpa)brought in an ankle of a Albertasours.It was amazing.The microscope that David brought in was amazing to.It was amazing because there was a camera attached inside it and it could connect into your T.V. or computer.When David brought the microscope in it was connected into the Televison.The coolest part was when you could see the tiny specs of everthing like a piece of grass.My favourite part was when we won a prize whenever we guessed the answer right on the T.V.
This week we also got to get outside and run with Pod A after we got to play at the playground.
On thursday we got gym with Mr.Mackay on one side girls played hockey on the other side we got free time.
On Friday we got to go to a play called Munscha Mia and the Granville Island Carousel Theatre. The play was based on Robert Munch’s books. The were all combined together and the actors designed a play.The theme was really about wigs and hair.
On Thursday we got to do Characters. We wrote about going for a walk with our cousin’s. We used quotation marks whenever our cousin talks are we talk. My cousins name was Dexcie. We also taught our cousins about elephants because we were learning about them at school. Well here’s the ending!

I had the best week ever. I got to go to go to Granville Island we got to watch a 1 hour show at the Carousel Theatre. It was really fun to watch, I was sitting beside my friend Noah.I made elephants out of clay. I had fun making elephants out of clay and it was my first time making elephants out of clay.It was my last day of hockey class and it was a tournament.Our team was named the canucks but before the game we got to make the logo and the flag before the game started,our team lost 3 straight and won 1 game I was the team captain I had a great hockey class that time. On Thursday I went to play basketball with my dad at south arm comunity centre I made shots go in and out, I also made shots go in and don’t touch the rim. I had the best week ever 🙂 !
I can say this week went fast showing I’M my little sister how to do well I have to go now to go eat breakfast so bye 🙂 :):(:) see you later
what a week we did clay and went on a Field Trip to Munscha Mia that show is so fun it is like the best day ever but I’m going to have more best days ever to and don’t tell Ms.Newton that I had fun day at school okay Ms.Newton said school is not fun we got new book in our class and Avery’s grandpa came to our class room and we got prizes. What a week we had 🙂
WOW! I had such a blast all week! Today we got to go on a field trip to the Carousel Theatre on Granville Island. We watched a play called Munscha Mia and it is about all these Robert Munsch books put into a play! We also did lots in characters. We wrote about “A Walk With My Cousin” and we used quotation marks because our cousin (In Characters) about elephants.
I Has Such A Blast This Week!
I had a great week! And this week went so fast! But it went a little to fast :(. But at least we had a lot of FUN!
This week we finished the book called The Mouse and the Motorcycle. Can you actually believe a mouse on a motorcycle and riding it? The book was really awesome! TOTALLY AWESOME!! It was about a boy named Keith who came to a hotel and he found out there was a mouse named Ralph. And Keith had a motorcycle and lets him ride it.And now we started a new book. It was a Geronimo Stilton book.And our whole class got different kind of book. I got the book called Surf’s Up Geronimo.
We made elephants out of clay. First we made the clay a ball . And then we stick our thumb in and pulled some clay out to make the legs.After that we pull out the trunk and the ears. It was so much fun!!
We went on a field trip!! We went to the Carousel theatre at Granville Island. We got there on bus too. And the show was called Munscha Mia. It is funny.
Avery’s grandpa came to our classroom. And he brought some really cool things!! He brought a microscope and a Dinosaur bone.
We did characters . Its about a walk with my cousin. And our cousin asks questions about elephants. And we use quotation marks when somebody talk.
